hmmm...its definately humorous ill give you that...but i dunno...my question is why didnt they pull this game out sooner it seems more like theyre tryin to follow in the shadows of Phoenix Wright pal....:gumshoe: but your opinion is yours and mine is mine

Obviously a blatant ripoff of Phoenix Wright. It still looks okay, maybe I'll try it out if I ever get a PSP, which... I doubt.

Capcom made it so it's more of a clone than ripoff. It has PW elements and Birdman, so it's a win-win for me.

Indeed, win-win. :D

hmm i gotta idea on why they decide now... What if they were biding their time to see if PW was a big hit if it was (which it is it #3 most wanted in NPs magazine for DS) then this game would be released.

They decided to make this after the original proved to be a hit...

I thought that was common knowledge. >.>

I dunno, after watching the gameplay videos it looks kinda bland, plus the humor of the show is (IMO) not at all funny.

Harvey Birdman is the funniest show I've ever seen. Nothing can even begin to compare to the masterpiece it is.

I like the game so far. The humor is slightly less than the show had, so far, but of course, that can change.

I'm looking forward to it :keiko:

Is that even real game play?

I can imagine how the meeting for this went. " Its all about games these days, every one will love it!" "But it kinda looks like a cheesy rip off of Phoenix Wright." " It's like one big joke! People who played the real thing will get a kick!" It kinda makes me shiver.

But still I've only just heard about it so I guess people like that sort of thing. :yuusaku:

Huh? Maybe there is a little gross humor, but I don't get what would make you barf. Are you insulting the graphics or something?

I beat the game in 4 hours. it has LOTS of hidden things, but short. it's a rental game, unless you're a HUUUUGE fan of both Harvey Birdman and Phoenix Wright like I am. FURRY PRON LOL! yeah... It was hilarious. But don't get it if you don't like the show's humor, since that's what it is.

I love it when he's all involve the police? I'll do it myself! *investigates* It made me laugh, because that's rather how PW is.. WHO NEEDS THE POLICE?! EH??

We noticed earlier that there were Street Figher Cameos in the form of Guile. Any other noticeable cameos?

I personally didn't really like it, but that's probably because PW has spoiled me. I mean, if you press an unimportant comment, a lot of times you don't get a humorous script - Harvey just says something like "I'd say something, but that's it's not that important." And then investigation was a bit meh too. I'd probably like this game more if I watched the show and had never played PW.

I won't be able to get it for some time. It's only for PS2, PSP and Wii, right? No 360 or PC versions?

I found the gameplay clips funnyer than the show. But thats just me. Definitelly getting it.

Is it out yet?

each case has street fighter cameos in it, usually if you ask a different question than what you should, etc, you may get it. There are also videos to unlock in the game, etc.

There are also hidden little things you can do, like in the last case if you use a blue paint can on the front of the office building, you wright "Falcone Sucks", and you can throw eggs at it as well. All in all the game's extremely easy, but there are still the tiny fun things to discover.

Does the PSP version have voiceivers?

Are there big differences between versions?

i rather the seriousness and comedy moments of phoenix wright and Apollo justice oh yeah and the awesome music too.
the game (harvey birdman )also looked a bit strange it was just well i cant describe it :jazzsneeze: .

Post subject:  Re: Harvey Birdman, ACE ATTORNEY

Being strange is one of it's selling points.

Edit: I finally got a copy for the PSP... and finished it on the same *looks over to clock* the next day. But only by two hours. And not playing too much.

I think it's decent. A bit short but that is probably the price for all that animation and voiceovers.

My favourite judge is Mentok the mind taker. "It's like human solitaire."
