I think the "Spy Update" is showcasing the upcoming "Bonus Items" you can get "depending on your style".

Looking at my previous "Stats Recordings", you can bet I'm gonna enjoy this. :karma:

One last thing... I'm gonna wait another day before I edit the links, in case they re-change it (for the weapons & Achievements)...

I F***ING CALLED IT! (A long time ago, I said that the Spy would come out before Pyro & Medic. :butzthumbs:)

Amazing how it's on Youtube before Valve updated the "Movies" tab on the TF2 Site... But that aside, I LOVED this video! (Though did anyone else call how that would end? I don't know why, I found it somewhat predictable to assume which was the Spy there... Also, did anyone else notice the Pyro wasn't in the video? Demoman either, but I assume he was drinking somewhere...)

So I was thinking what on earth Valve would do for the Meet the Medic video when I read the Medic description of the scrapped trading card idea, and it triggered the cogs in my mind.

What stands out is how he cares less about healing and more about inflicting pain.

This reminded me of Orin from Little Shop of Horrors, a sadistic dentist who inflicted pain on his patients for fun. Sound familiar? A key point for Orin in the musical and film is his song, "I am a Dentist", which he sings about his job and how he enjoys hurting people.

I hope the new spy update doesn't create a sudden increase in spies. Also the Heavy is going to get raped when the update is up. The Sniper and Spy are going to have a smashing time with the Heavy.

The Spy Unlocks (According to clues and the TF2 blog)

Golden Spy Watch ~ When you get shot with a non-lethal shot, you leave death ragdoll and immidiently go into cloak.
Spy Watch (don't know the name of the unlock) ~ If you don't move while cloacked, Standing still refills cloak
The Ambassador (Revolver replacement) ~ ???

Anyone else notice how the Spy in the video was the Scout... yet he had the Sandman out?

... Since when can the Spies show disguises that make it look like they're holding the unlockable weapons of other classes?

Woah it REFILLS the cloak? Even better :godot: But i think that's a little overpowered.

Ok fixed my post.

Also ask yourself this. Since when did touching the intelligence not uncloak the spy? Also any smart spy would of found the password to the vault, because on the keypad, the number "1" was really dirty in the "Meet the Spy" video. Also when the Red Spy fights the Medic, if you look, his already in the intelligence room (i think). To top it off, before the spy slides the sapper, the Spy is clearly in range of the Sentry. The Spy should of been detected by the Sentry's motion sensor.

It was just a video, yanno. Actual gameplay stuff wouldn't look as cool. Plus we wouldn't see a owned Engineer.

Huh... Interesting "Side Effect" there... "Needs time to cool down between shots"... As long as it takes less time than the Sniper Rifle, I'm good with that. :gymshoe:

Awww i wanted a super cool hitman pistol for the spy unlock :(

The Meet the Spy Video has alot of clues:
A hint of a disguise case unlock (in the video, the spy's cigarette and the case are different)
The Sniper in the video has a box labeled "razorback"
on the situation board at the start, if you watch HD, you can see "Lost Dracula" and "Found Dracula" also a Dracula silhouette when you see the sniper. Maybe Dracula is a new game mode?
