What is the rarest game you own?

I am going to take a wild guess and say either my first Parasite Eve or the first Silent Hill, both for PS1.

Unfortunately, I only have two of them: Persona 3 and Devil Summoner. I don't think they are that rare compared to Nocturne and Digital Devil Saga. :s

I guess mine would have to be Rez for the PS2.. If you search it on Amazon, a new copy is worth $170 to $200 @_@... Used ones range from $50 to $100.

Street Fighter Collection 2 (Playstation) got it used for $29.99. (Disc is really good, includes instruction booklet and everything is neat)

And now...Im having a hard time finding the first Street Fighter Collection and possibly Gitaroo Man.

Damn I have a lot. It also depends on what you mean by 'rare', regardless of how obvious it may seem.

Like, if you are talking about really expensive shit but not hard to actually find beyond that (ebay, Amazon, etc.), I own the PS2 Megaten games- they add up to some $1000+ in total.

I've got, as someone above mentioned, Startropics for the NES, as well as Skies of Arcadia and Grandia II for Dreamcast (Well, they're rare now, anyway), aaaaand... well, this is another case of a game that was a bitch to find when I was actually looking for it, but not so much when I didn't care: the PS1 version of Metal Gear Solid (I was a latecomer to the fandom).

Well, I don't own them anymore (I am bitter), and I don't really know how rare they are, but I had all the PS2 MegaTen games, Wizardry: Tale of the Forsaken Land, Tsugunai, Dragon Quarter, and a few others that were stupidly hard to find.

Rarest ever is probably sid meier's alien crossfire, the alpha centauri expansion. single print run, can't find it anywhere for <$100.

Rez and Ikaruga are both coming to XBLA for 800 MS Points, I'm curious as hell as to whether not it will affect the market price.

Lunar Silver Star Story Complete and Lunar Eternal Blue Complete for the Playstation are the most hard to find/SUPER RARE games to purchase over hundreds and hundreds of bills!

Oh wow.. Ikaruga I can kinda see, but Rez? O_O.. interesting choice, Microsoft.. Still though, it would be nice for more people to have played either game. :edgy: I wonder if that WOULD make the games themselves cheaper? >.>

Microsoft is also trying to get Radiant Silvergun, these minor decisions are one of the reasons I purchased the 360,first. Microsoft has shown that they know how to please any type of customer, now I'm not going to spin any crap about 'omg dey care da gamers', all vidya companies only care about the money. But Microsoft, is really making all the right decisions this time round. It's a damn shame that Atlus is refusing to support it. :(

I remember I accidentally discovered S class somewhere and from that point I started finding ways to complete levels in rediculous time. My absolute best record still holds at 7 seconds flat against Sasquash β.

I have Parappa the Rapper PS, I have a lot of NES games but I'm not sure about the value or if there considered rare. Have Megaman 8, Silent Hill, Kolona, Killer Instinct, Golden Eye 007. . . I would really have to look around to see what else I have.

The rarest games I would have to say I own are The Blockbuster Demo Copy of Pokemon Snap used for the Promotional Printer Machines and Sealed Copies all 3 Phoenix Wright English.

What the hell does that mean?

I just bought Lunar Eternal Blue Complete yesterday at Bookman's for forty five bucks. Still in its original packaging and wrapped.

They had Lunar Silver Star Story Complete as well, albeit without the collector's stuff, in a busted case, for the stupidly high price of forty dollars.

I'm... not actually sure. I tend to pick up all kinds of games and so I'm not altogether positive of what happens to be rare and what doesn't, anymore.

Although I kept a lot of my old NES and SNES hard-to-finds up until just two or three years ago. Had to sell them during a bad patch. *weep*

My Bookman's (or is it just "Bookman's"? I'm not sure if it's only local) has one giant cabinet filled to the brim with N64 games., and roughly six copies of Paper Mario and Yoshi's Story.

I'm not actually sure if that doesn't mean they're rare though, as this is also a store that had two copies of Nocturne at one point (albeit in 'fair' condition).

I have a ton of SNES games. They probably aren't considered rare, though. MegaMan X, super Mario World, Mario All-Stars, Michael Jordan in the Windy City (Greatest bad game ever, by the way)...

Probably the Zelda's Collector's Edition disc, which includes the NES Zeldas and the N64 Zeldas. I got it for free. Whee.
