Holy shit! Someone who knows that the word 'conversate' does not exist in the English language! O.O

They're talking about Elite Beat Agents, which is debatably the best rhythm game for the DS if you count Ouendan and Ouendan 2.

I decided that "What are you guys talking about?" was too plain.

But I should've expected EBA... is it a good game in general?

Also, I HATE asking these but... what are the other 2 ye listed?

Ouendan and Ouendan 2 are, in a nutshell, the Japanese equivalents of Elite Beat Agents. Ouendan was released in 2005 but never saw release outside Japan because it wouldn't appeal to Western audiences.

Elite Beat Agents was released in 2006 as the answer to everyone's cry for a release of Ouendan outside Japan. Change the cheerleaders to secret agents, slap a bunch of big-name American artists and hit songs in the game, improve the gameplay and features, and "Voila!" You've got Ouendan for U.S. consumers.

Ouendan 2 was released in 2007 as the sequel to the first Ouendan game. It hasn't been released outside Japan because it's still meant to appeal to Japanese audiences but that doesn't stop people from importing it. In fact, many consumers regard it as the best of all three games.

Did I mention what they were? They're rhythm games and unquestionably the best ones for the DS. They're fun, addicting, challenging, and sometimes just plain hard-as-heck. They're great for playing on the run or at home.

As for EBA being a good game...that really depends on your taste in music. If you don't mind the music then I'm sure you'll love the game. If you can't stand songs like "Sk8er boi", "Jumpin' Jack Flash", "YMCA", or "Canned Heat" then it might not be your cup of tea. Regardless, there's a lot of charm in the game. Stories are told out in still-frame comic-styled sketches, the visuals are bright, beautiful, and pleasing to the eye, the Agents are some of the most lovable, energetic protagonists you'll ever meet, and it's hilarious as hell to watch a trio of men in black do the Y-M-C-A dance steps.

It's good fun and if you can handle the soundtrack and intense difficulty, then give it a whirl. Might be best to watch a couple of YouTube vids first, though. The game's difficulty is a menace and shows no mercy for new players.

That's not necessarily true... I found both OTO and EBA to be very basic compared to Nodame Cantabile and Ontamarama.

Beating Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. I don't play video games that often, so finishing them felt a little weird to me. They were some of the first games I ever sat down to play fully. Hehe.

2. On console or the PC (using emulator)?

Without walkthrough and on a console, although it wasn't mine. I borrowed it from a friend.

I played it using an emulator afterwards but since all these cheats were at my disposal, I somewhat went a little... nuts....

For some reason, unless its an RPG, I'll suck at a game if its on an emulator, even if I'm really good at it on the console. A prime example of this would be the mario and zelda games.

Straight 20/0/0 pwn in Wheel of Time with 8 peoples. (no hax)

S class overall mark in Mischief Makers + all gold thingies. I cleared a game once to do it over but never got all the shineys. :nick:

Completed Final Fantasy on the Wonderswan Color. The fact that such a thing can be documented by me is amazing.

Finished FF3(FNES) with four Onions fully armed at level 88.

Somehow finished Zelda II on the NES with level 0 stats. Stupid thing is that I still have the cart. Everyone but T-Bird was a piece of cake.

I'm learning to read/write Japanese glyphs with the DS. :bellboy:

All these people with all these achievements make me feel insignificant by comparison.

Probably my most significant achievement was 100% of all the minigames in Wario Ware Inc. for the Gamecube. It's kind of funny, the hardest game to beat on there is actually rock paper scissors. Go figure.

A close second would have to be beating the Chapter 6 Savato in Trauma Center: Under the Knife (MUCH harder than the Second Opinion version, by far) and getting an A rank on it the first time I passed it.

I only beat the first Phoenix Wright without a guide, but in terms of a "feel awesome" achievement, that is way up there. Along with completing FF7(without KoTR or mimic or any master materia), Paper Mario (easy, but awesome), Legend of Zelda (OOT), and Fire Emblem... but I suppose that is another topic.
Love is something only true in fairy tales.
Meant for mindless fools, but not for me.

I played the game, but I think I messed up at one point and never retrieved my "Rinoa" card... but if I didn't mess up, then I got all the cards.

And btw? Triple Triad was ****ing awesome.

Hmm... these probably won't be seen a "achievements" by anyone else but for me...

Completing (all poes, bugs, hearts, etc.) Twilight Princess without a guide, walkthrough, or help of any kind.

Beating the original LoZ. (I cried tears of frustration in the final dungeon... damn Wizzrobes...)
