But I had to be told by a friend to get it to work. Also, people will shoot me for this, but I DID find some fun in Shadow the Hedgehog... until I got through three endings. Then I stopped playing. |

The stupidest thing I've done in a game was play Halo 3... One on one... Against someone who knows how to play the game... Heck, I was still trying to figure out how to jump when he swords me to death... |

Problem with that theory though, is that some Halo 3 players are almost GOD-LIKE in their execution of moves, skills, and techniques. Halo players can take years to master ther craft, and perfect it. So Please. Don't Try This At Home. SOMEONE MUST'VE SEEN THAT COMING!!! |

The Legend of Zelda: Phantom hourglass I hit one of those red/blue switch and changed the color to blue....The phantom caught me....guess what? I died too *sigh* And lets see....ah! I know one that i really hate! grrrr Using Leon to try to take out a missle! |

This happened today actually. I was playing Silent Hill 3 and forgot about that one storage room in the hospital that transforms once you enter it. I sat there, freaking out, because I hadn't saved in a while. I instantly ran to the door and kept pressing X. I eventually got out, with barely any health left, and was nearly killed by a monster. |

Super Mario Sunshine. I think it was the stage when we had to lead that big angry red chain chomp into the hot spring in Pianta Village. Anywayz I asked my big brother to do it for me 'cause it was too hard. And it like took him a long time but he did it! He handed me the controller and i was so happy that before I got the shine sprite, I ran up that HUGE tree and ran around in circles. Unfortunately, I mis leaded Mario and made him fall of the stage. I just stayed there with a "OMFG WHAT DID I JUST DO" face while my brother is all "WTF WHY DID YOU DO THAT?!?!?!?". To this day that stage had never been completed... Heheh. |

One Piece: Unlimited Adventure: I finally defeated Whitebeard (the hardest boss in the game). All of my characters were knocked out except for Zoro, who had a little over a sliver of both health and energy left. I had no medicine in my inventory. I finally leave Land to Heaven (where the boss fight was) and jump off the cliff (which doesn't harm me) and in a one in a million shot, I fell into the ravine and got a game over before I could save!!! That made me cry... But a few days later after I recovered from the mortal blow to my pride, i beat Whitebeard again and saved, so that was a relief... |

I always keep pressing what I think is the attack button, when it's really the item button and I end up wasting all my items I worked so hard to collect. This happened to me in a Naruto game and in Super Mario Galaxy. |

This is a repeating mistake I do on City of Heroes. I have two attacks hotkeyed side-by-side. The first is the only one of my offensive attacks with a casting time that does 3x more damage than my other attacks called Moonbeam. The other is my only healing attack called Twilight Grasp (which heals me for 25-50% total HP) which has a 75-80% chance to hit due to the healing effect being an AoE and me having to target an opponent to use it. ANYWAY, when me or another party member (or both) are near dead, slip of the finger makes me cast Moonbeam, which usually gets interrupted while the severely injured player(s) die(s). The reverse is also true. When I have an opportunity to deal massive damage when everyone around me is 90%-Full HP, stupid me casts Twilight Grasp to heal... I don't know if it's a slip of the finger or a Brain Fart, but i wish i would stop it... It's very irritating... |

In Lost Odyssey i was fighting the forest when your looking for mack, and in the boss fight he's possed. so your suspose to knock him out and they tell me that AFTER i put in my commands, so i killed him. in mario 64 after u beat 3rd form bowser i was jumping in style and fell off the platform. |

Are you guys lying? I'm at level 30-ish and I still can't challenge him (this is my second playthrough, by the way). Anyways, this one is not my fault for being stupid, just that it was just plain stupid (and random). I was playing Oregon Trail II a few years ago with my sister (name withheld). We created a full family, with one of the being the youngest age (6 or 8 years, I think). Well, as soon as we traveled (literally) one mile, the child dies. Just. One. Mile. No diseases, no injuries. Needless to say, my sister and I just blankly stared at the screen for a few moments. Ironically, the rest of the family was able to travel west without a hitch. I even got a good ending for it, too! |

I died just talking to him!Eh, dumbest thing I've probably ever done was in Melee, trying out Jigglypuff's neutral B move on Corneria. Just to let you all know, that fin on the Great Fox... it's like a great big jump.

One time was in the last mission of hitman blood money. Spoiler: Another misstake was when i was going to do the rfd instance and the otherguys ran away before me and i didnt find the portal and got lost with the mobs after me and run and look back a moment and i ended up on the clif between barrens and thousand needles. |

Stupidest thing I've done in a game...? Well I was playing the first PW for the first time and I was on 1-5 and on the VERY LAST testimony where all I needed to do was present the last piece of evidence and it would be done. Unfortunately I am really paranoid and save a lot, unfortunately I didn't notice the battery was getting low on my DS and I didn't notice and it lost power while it was trying to save. I reloaded it after plugging it in and my saves were all gone and I had to redo every single case just to get back to that part and finish it. Not to mention that last case is super long on its own :( |

I can't recall any stupid mistakes I made at the moment, yet my friend managed to smack me over the head with her wii-mote during a "friendly" match of Tennis. She swears it was an accident, but I know the true reason.

Guys if you do not recall please play Kingdom Hearts two again... You meet Sephiroth very early in the game, right after the part where you fight alongside all the different Final Fantasy characters, also I never actually go out to level up my character so it stays low for most of the game, until I truly wish to fight Sephiroth or a main boss. I am not the only one this has happened to I was with my friend when he first met Sephiroth, he was level 23, so clearly neither of us are bluffing XP! Another video game moment was made possible by a friend of mine, he was playing Indiana Jones and the Emperor's tomb over my house, well after navigating through booby traps, finding their way through the dungeon-ish area, and facing all the villians, he finally made it to the idol for which he was searching for. It cut into a movie sequence where Indy walked up to the podium the idol was on, then went back to normal gameplay...being the dumbass my friend is he thought that Indy took the idol so he turned around and walked away leaving it on the podium... I waited until he fought his way back out of the temple to tell him he was missing something XD! Azum |

I make it a habit to do something reckless in every game. I can think of a couple times I did something just stupid. DW 4. My friend Jaime was telling em about what an idiot Sun Jian was historically while I was playing as him " At this one battle, the moron followed after these officers and ran into an obvious trap where he was separated form the rest of his army" * Me 5 Minutes later* " damn you quit running !! Jaimeeeee!! Why are these guys running from meee!? Jaime: What battle are you playing? .....Oh goddmnit.. Yep, I fell into the very same trap she was telling about 5 minutes ago. Phantom hourglass: After being told by the fairy that I cant defeat the phantoms. " The hell I cant! * Charges in and swings like hell. Gives that up after about 3 game overs. Then attempts to run up behind him and begins hacking away. Dies about 7 times then gets the idea to push them back into the pit* It was good idea, but it didnt work. |

Its not my fault.It's my brothers. My brother was playing baton katios and the ocean. It was when he was in the ship with the machinesand his hp was really low.He saved it on the ship. I could never play that game again as he did that. |
