In one of the Smackdown Vs. Raw games, I was destorying John Cena on top of a HIAC, and was about to pin him, but I accidentally ran off the roof, and landed headfirst to the ground. Frick.

Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, against Malachi, where I ran around for two hours looking for a way to kill the fucker and turn an inert switch...before turning up the brightness to reveal the opening into the portcullis rooms.

Several games, where I get a rare item or beat a boss and forget to save. We've all been there.

Oh yeah In recipe for tornabout where you have to select the ear medication bottle I almost had no life and accidentally took the weenie lunch and to make it worse i didn't save since the investigation

Stupidest thing I've ever done in a game...

I have two things that fit this bill.

One thing spawns from my KOTOR (PC-version) game on Manaan. I always seem to open the wrong door...

Next stupidest thing I've done is on my PC-version for my Star Wars BF2 game on multi-player online. I was playing this one game last night where I got sniped by a player-controlled Droideka on the CIS vs Republic 1 CTF Death Star map. I was in the hangar switching classes when I got tagged. I also kept getting rocket-sniped. Yes, rocket-sniped. This one player kept sniping me...with rockets. And the player was on the CIS team. So that was another stupid thing (the fact I got rocket-sniped, not the fact the player was on the other team, mind you).

I also accidentally TK'd someone on that same map during the same game as well, so you could count that as a stupid thing I've done...

Looks like I gotta play some more SW:BF2 multi-player...

In Mega Man X8 at the beginning of the final boss fight (Searph Lumine) when he dive bombs you I ran away for some reason instead of trying to jump over him then. When I reached the platform's edge, (the fight takes place on a large platform) I turn around to jump over him but, some how I crash into him and he pushes me right off the platform and I died...man I felt really stupid for that.

This has happened to me numerous times. I play for like 5 hours straight, without ever saving because I think, Ah... I'll save next time. Then either a super monster comes and kills me entire crew or a power outage happens TT o TT

Makes me want to cry afterwards. Hahahaha.

In Morrowind, I was buying a few things. Potions, armor, etc. Note: This is in Vivec, crawling with Ordinators (aka the strongest generic non-enemies in the game). When I'm done getting everything, I go to equip my new sword and swing it AWAY from everyone when I accidentally swing at the shopkeeper, killing her in one shot. At this point, there was an ordinator standing behind me, attacking me. So, I kill him as well. I leave the shop. Twenty Ordinators start chasing after me and, before I finally get away, a Blighted Cliff Racer shows up and inflicts a blight disease on me that hinders my speed and agility. The ordinators then catch up and kill me. Congratulations, I just won the Epic Fail award!

Something stupid my game is doing: Harvest Moon Friends of Mineral Town, it's the 6th day of winter and I've already had 4 snowstorms. WTF. At least my cow is happy, somehow @_@;;

When you are investigating with Ema, I got annoyed because I got stuck. So I examined everything a billion times, when 3 hours later, I find out I forgot to talk to her.



I was fighting the pirates on the ship on kingdom hearts 2 on proud mode or whatever its called, with the strongest key I had. I won but, I decided to pause for a minute to go outside when my cat comes in the room and decides to "bump" into the ps2 and shut it off. I didn't save since I first became Sora.
Haven't gone back to the game since.

Then there was another time with my bunny. I was playing WindWaker in the middle of the night in my room while my rabbit was trying to sleep. He got mad eventually. When he did though he stood up leaning on my gamecube and his paw hit the reset button. I was not happy. :chinami:

Once I was playing my GBA (Back when I had one...) And I was about to die on it from an enemy, so I paused it for a sec. My dog comes in and since it's making noise, he starts smasking the GBA, turns it on, and kills the enemy.

Btw, the game was Metroid Fusion (Which I still have! :larry2: )

In Okami, I had played for an hour and a half and hadn't saved. I was looking for one of the mirror doohickies and couldn't find one, and my friend was over and wanted to play a different game because "Okami is BORING" :adrian:. So I just shut off the game.

Did I mention I'd been playing for an hour and a half and had just beaten Orochi?

Turns out he wanted to play SSBM. And I've got one of those station-switcher thingamabobs, where if you want to play one console, you hit one button, and to play a different console, you hit another one.

Okami was on button "2". SSBM was on button "3".

I could've just hit the "3" and played SSBM until he was gone so I could find and save Okami.

That game also contains another of my blunders; there was a room in the game, with three enemies in it, in which you have to turn one to ice (snowman) in order to hold down a switch. You not only have to wait and pick the exact right time to do it, but you have to either kill everyone else in the room or get lucky to avoid losing it. This presents a problem due to the respawn system; if even one monster is left alive, leaving the room and returning will restore them all. However, if you kill them all, you have to go seven screens away to get them to reappear, fighting your way through everyone (in this case, several rooms that involve monster-triggered locked doors and traps). I finally managed to pull it off after about 20 tries, advancing to the next level...

...and died when I accidentally stepped in lava. :zaviaar:

...and I had not saved. :zennybw:

I stopped playing the game for a year or two. Even then, it took me over 20 more tries to get past it. :gantdown:

Quite fun. The game presented no problems after that, however.

We managed to survive and beat the level anyway.

Today, I was playing Curse of Monkey Island (I LOVE SCUMM VM) and I couldn't figure out why I couldn't get to the next part of the game. I thought I had done everything and couldn't figure out why it wasn't triggering! I had made sure all the files were in the right spots, and it was all fine and dandy. So I went through my mental checklist again.

Got the map off of Palido (literally)? Check.
Defeated all the barbers in their specific duels? Check.
Gotten the monkeys off of the Sea Cucumber? Check.
Gotten Elaine so we can GTFO the island? Umm... whoops.

Considering that Elaine was kind of the ENTIRE POINT of the game...

Well, I was on the roof of a small cabin and was about to jump across to the ledge. But I accidentally walked off the cabin roof and pressed the wrong button; I threw a TNT stick. There were loads of other TNT sticks lying around on the ground, so those blew up as well. And I died. I was laughing my head off cos I only played 5 seconds of it. My friend who was playing earlier was shocked and then she friend said "I'm not letting you play this game anymore, Dubs"

Yeah, I do that a bunch of times too, it always annoys me way too much and I gotta boot up my last save or something.. The controls for FoMT are really annoying, its way too hard to put something in your rucksack without eating it first..

Oh and in Super Mario Galaxy, you guys know that first boss, the thing in the giant egg with the tail hanging out, and you're supposed to spin attack the tail? Well I thought you had to break the egg. So I actually jumped on the tail, then on the top of the egg (while it was moving) and tried to jump up and have Mario hit it, but I kept sliding off. I did that for at least an hour until I figured out that you're just supposed to shake the wiimote when you're next to the tail..

I do alot of stupid things... Example:

The first time I played Half-Life 2 I examined the sky when my brother came up to me saying: "There's a combine shooting at you"
I ran all over the place screaming "Where is the combine where is the combine?!"
"It's right there!"
"WHERE!"

I seriously couldn't see him even though he stood right in front of me, gun in my face...

I thought I could play Castlevania on my N64 with 3 worn-out analog sticks...
I could do the jumping if I turned the camera around (I once finished Ocarina of time that way, it was frustrating but I did it) and it worked all the way to the Tower of Sorcery where the game for some reason locked the camera behind me... and now I'm stuck.

Assasins's creed, went to boot the guy off the cliff - dunno whether it was a glitch or not, but the guy moved out the way and i went weeee off the cliff XD

I like throwing Jak off of things in the Jak and Daxter series...mainly because there are no 'lives' :3

My friend was playing Age of Mythology and found an island. Using cheats he sent some units there and used meteor on them. That was funny.

Was playing the Hobbit and jumped in the water to see what would happen. Bilbo (hobbit) drowned.

Blast Corps. Yep! OLD SKOOL DEMOLITION!!!

The "Landing Site" level. I cleared out every single building from the runway... but I forgot to move MY OWN vehicle off of there, and the rocket crashed into it.
