after christmass day, so many nubs got COD4, Forza, Halo 3, etc., and so many people played on xbox live, that almost all servers for all games became overloaded and shut down. from what ive heard, the only game worth playing that works is Gears. Hopefully, theyll fix the situation swiftly so that i can play COD4 and get my rank up. Debate and Discuss.

Apparently Microsoft will make a XBOX Live Arcade game available for free to compensate for the trouble. Hopefully it will be a good game... Oh, and the problem was whit matchmaking: once you actually got into a game it ran smoothly. |

Naw, my XBL menu wouldn't come up. It said that I was signed in and then it signed me right back out saying "Connect to Xbox Live". Kinda pissed about that one. Heard someone is suing them for over 5 million bucks. Hope it's a class action lawsuit ;) |

I thought XBOX Live was mostly P2P? You're paying to host your own games for the most part. |

Hmm, thats not like Microsoft to have something like that happen. But then again, the Xbox seems to have flaws so... I hope it gets fixed! |

i finally got my COD4 working again. no problem joining matches as a single player, but my party wouldn't work. |
