Y'know, those lil' things that programmers slip into a game, usually funny stuff?

My personal fave is a classic. Who can forget the fella in Mortal Kombat that pops his head in and yells "Toastyyyy!"

Spoiler: Mario Galaxy
It's in one of the observatories. One of the swimming levles, the Bouy galaxy or something. It's a massive tower with a bouy at the top that changes to a Pokeball when you loosen(or tighten I forgot) a screw.

Indestructible lawn gnome. Terrifying. I shot that thing with a rocket launcher and it survived.

In Star Wars: Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight you can find Max from Sam and Max. It just surprised me so much! Also, if he gets angry at you, you die QUICK.

That is like one of the oldest codes known to man. It is referred to as the "Konami Code". *trumpets and fanfare*
It has a few different forms (sometimes the "A" and "B" arts are swapped) and is in many games.

This probably does not count as an Easter Egg but Snake vs Monkey for MGS3 and Mesal Gear from Ape Escape 3 was just pure awesome.
