Srry if this topic is arount yet, couldn't find it with search anyway. Can sum1 poll this?? I think Normal DS is better since my brother and my sister both have a NDS Lite I can see the differences. Ofcourse the lighty stuff in the LITE is pretty cool, but I still prefer normal DS: In the Lite GBA Games stick out so if they fall on the gba game the game reader is kinda broken (my brother has it). I have a DS but I'm using a Lite stylus they are much cooler ( and bigger ) than normal stylus. The normal DS haves a better look I think. Not like the lite a WII design but with round shapes. And ofcourse the power button of the normal DS is much more simple and better to use. Share your opinion!! |

I dunno. Never had a lite as my DS loves me and doesn't want to break, so I'll go with the original. |

DS Lite for the win. I'm trying to sell my old DS Lite for a number of reasons: 1) The hinge is cracked and looks hideous 2) The back light hurts my eyes 3) It's bulky, grey, and heavier than the light 4) The screen won't calibrate I'll need to have it refurbished when I sell it, though. |

I like my DS better simply because the audio is louder. For some reason I like to blast the Phoenix Wright games when a Cornered theme starts playing, and that's not possible on the Lite. Other than that, I like the D-Pad on the DS better because diagonals refuse to work on the Lite and the face buttons sometimes don't respond unless you push down very hard because they're pushy on the Lite instead of clicky (like the DS). Also, there's the whole deal that GBA games stick out and the power switch is on the side so if you get intense during a game you might squeeze too hard and accidentally move the switch up and off the system (only happened to me once). One might say that the microphone is in a better spot on the Lite, but I liked it at the bottom of my DS because when I blow into my Lite, I always get a slight amount of moisture or fog on my screens and I wish I didn't have to do that (cleaning the screens without smudging or scratching is tough and annoying). ... On a positive note, I like the Lite's larger Stylus better. I wish I didn't give my old DS to my brother because I'm not liking my Lite as much (yet, hopefully). |

Original DS. Even though the stylus is smaller and the screen isn't BLINDINGLY bright, I like my portables above a particular size. I've got Piano Fingers and therefore don't like my hands to be crushed. That's why I preferred the GBA (With a protective cover that artificially augmented the surface area) over the GBA-SP |

Lite I would say. I have original but I wish I had lite... Of course, I do like the original. Mine just is in bad shape because it fell off a desk charger (Stupid piece of crap charger.) and the top screen is loose.

My original DS works great, and I don't see any reason to get a DS Lite. So I guess I'd have to say original DS. The Lite is prettier, though. =) |

i've never liked the fact that the gba games stick out, but there was always one reason i liked the light better- weight with the original, i had a hard time playing stylus games, it was always more comfortable to put the ds down on a tabel and play games that used the stylus. with the lite, I barely feel it, so for me, lite = win |

Original. But that's only because the DS I have refuses to break on me. |

Lite. The older one is big and clunky. Then again, my Lite is currently busted... |

Both. Because the primary one marked the breakthrough that Nintendo has achieved (being the console with dualscreen) and the successor is easy to be carried anywhere, anytime. But I prefer love instead of games....
