She can be really funny at times, but poses no common sense whatsoever. One time she walked right into a pole while walking in New York City. :)

Um, I'm almost finished, actually (in other words, surprisingly). Vera didn't destroy it yet.

Well, it's an adult novel by Stephenie Meyer (the greatest author currently alive) and it's science fiction for people who don't like science fiction. Ominous and strange creatures have invaded the Earth; only a few human souls still wander in hiding. An eighteen-year-old (I believe) girl named Melanie Stryder is captured and a soul (one of the creatures) named Wanderer is put inside her deceased body. Wanderer tries to probe Melanie's memory in an effort to find the other humans, but Melanie refuses to fade into oblivion, like she should. Instead, she fills Wanderer's mind with memories of her love, Jared. Wanderer, unable to rebel against her body's wishes, searches for Jared. It's possibly the first love triangle with only two bodies.
