I think I used those ones. Just keep trying, and if you need to leave the game alone for a while, the ping gain PP for the time you don't play.
That will power them up and give you an advantage you don't have right now.

Like if time goes by on my DS's internal clock? Or just by wearing different pins and letting them sit in my inventory for a little while? And maybe I'm wrong, but I don't completely understand everything.. but don't the pins get stronger from using them more often?

Lol, and somewhat off topic, but not really - I have a major crush on Neku now. He's too adorable. Though I think part of the reason why I'm attracted to him is because he's so antisocial.. He and I both have some things in common, haha. I don't think anyone really cares, and someone's going to try to steal him from me, but whatever. I just felt like being open and getting that out, lol.

Well, it's good that someone likes Neku xD

Pins get stronger as they collect PP and level up. An addition in level gives it more hitting power. It's not necessarily through using the pin alot. You can rack up PP from Shutdown too and by setting your internal clock, it's pretty easy to get a lot of it. But you can also evolve certain pins if you like. The evolved form tends to be stronger and better than its predecessor.

Yes, if you turn off your DS and let the game sit for a while your pins will gain PP and sometimes level up depending on how long you leave it.
You can rack up PP for a week.

I think it's actually 9 days - only by a difference of 6 PP total, though. I get, I think, 2 more PP on the last three days if I let it sit two days longer.

Hybrid is good, but I like Someday, too.

Finally beat the game, now I'm working on the Secret Reports.

How do you get the Mrs. Claus Suit? :yuusaku: I can't figure the clue out. (I said I wanna go shopping!) or something like that.

Shiki is still my favorite partner, she's love and win. Beat's not bad either; I actually like him for the most part, but having to hear BWAAAAAH! BWAAAAAH! BWAAAAAH! every couple minutes he's with you is more than a little annoying.

Joshua is still a gigantic prick. I kept waiting for something to happen that would at least somewhat redeem him.

To get the Mrs.Claus dress you have to try to leave when Shiki's ask's if you can go shopping.

I really dislike the story for Another Day. ><

As far as partners go (for me); Shiki > Beat > Joshua. They're all pretty awesome though. Joshua's a prick... so I like him ;P Beat's just... very irritating at times. I've got the first few Secret Reports, but I can't beat Megumi/Shiki on Hard >< I relaly have to get Beat's Bravery up so he can get some items so Mr. Mew doesn't kill him XD

@Kristophlover; If your still having trouble, try using the Wind pin. Worked for me ;P

Just got all the secret reports, and got to see the extended ending. It was pretty good, but it's nothing mega revealing that you don't already know by the time you see it. It's kinda weird that way, if you just go on youtube and watch it, it's rather spoilery. But if you take the time to get all the reports, you'll pretty much know most of what it shows you anyways by the time you see it.

It's still a pretty good clip though.

it's got a great soundtrack..I like the one star in the left out tracks from the soundtracks list/=

I'm on the 6th floor of pork city can't figure out which pin is needed for me to beat the pig there..

This game... is... one of the most AWESOMEST GAMES IN THE UNIVERSE! Along with Pokemon, AA and KH.

Not too happy with the language, but it's not like it popped up every five seconds or anything. A little new to me, considering KH is the only other Square series I've played, but not bad. And I'm surprised that there weren't many zippers in the game either.

Fighting on the top and bottom screens simultaneously was a little tricky at first, but I got used to it. I just randomly pushed buttons with fighting Noise on the touch screen. Oddly enough, that actually worked.

Neku, at first, seemed like a jerk. A big jerk. Not as big a jerk as Paul from PKMN, which is a relief. I think that his character development was done really well, though. Now he's one of my fave characters in the gaming universe.

Shiki, like Neku, is one of my faves. Mr. Mew is awesome! Plus, I just love any interaction between her and Neku.

Beat's an idiot. But he's a lovable idiot. He reminds me of Sokka for some reason. I think it's 'cause he makes me laugh.

Rhyme is awesome. She's just so cute and sweet. Is it just me, or does remind anyone of Kari from the first season of Digimon?

Joshua's a bit annoying. But at least he's better than Paul.

Fighting with all of the different pins was a little hard, but I got the hang of it. I think the easiest ones for me to use were

Tin Pin was pretty hard at first. Then I discovered that I didn't just have to dodge the other pins and their attacks. Boy, am I slow. Now wonder I kept losing.

In my opinion, this game deserves a 9.98 out of 10. Points taken off for the language. Either way, loved it, loved it, LOVED IT! Soundtrack's brilliant and Lullaby For You is just so pwetty!

Random question: Who in the TWEWY universe do you think is most likely to be a suspect for murder in the AA universe?

Anyone else support Neku & Shiki, by the way?

We'll for pins all you have to do is keeping changing the date for 7 days ahead and you'll get a lot of PP.

Actually, I thought the language was pretty appropriate, given the attitude of Neku and the overall feel of the game. What I did find extremely unusual was

If you haven't yet, get Hollow Leg. It helps. A lot.

What I'm doing is fighting a bunch of weak Noise outside the ramen shop on Day 3, then going in to buy more when I run out.

...I don't remember exactly. I think it's in that building where you get the second level wallet? You have to trade 3 Scarletites or whatever they're called for it.

Oh, just for the record, Hollow Leg lets you ignore the 24 byte-per-day limit on food.

100 for atk and def. 999 for bravery. XD

You can only get them 2 ways. One is to progress the story (you get scarletites as rewards, but only during the first playthrough, every other time you probably get 500 Yen), and the other is a quest item that has to be unlocked at Shibu HQ. To make it you need Dark Matter, and to make Dark Matter you need Shadow Matter... I haven't found which noise drops that yet. :payne:

@Luneth Dark: you can get Shadow matter from Taboo noises at ultimate, although the drop rate is very low, so you have to lower your level a LOT. remember, you need 10 to get a dark matter. OR, you can farm Dark matter from reaper beat and minamimoto(taboo), which is easier. just find their blue noise symbol.

@Phoenix and Maya Fan: the cheap tactic i use is to equip items that give your partners fusion stars so you can lv.1(or some can even get you lv.2) fusion at the start of the battle. if they're still alive after that, just whack away. XD
