(Does a quick search of the Forums to make sure this topic isn't a repeat)...alright, looks like I'm good to go with this topic.

Well...it's been a while since I've played this game, but...ah well, I did enjoy this game, myself, and I'm curious if any of you liked it, as well...or hated it...or are curious about this game...or whatever.

For those of you who don't know WTF I'm talking about, Cave Story (or Doukutsu Monogatari) is a freeware game that is similar to such games as "Mega Man" or "Metroid". I'm not good at explanations, but if you wanna check the game out for yourself, you can check it out at this one fansite.

For those of you who know WTF I'm talking about, I've beaten the "Hell" stage, but never really attempted any of the other commonly known challenges (I never beat the game with only 3 health, for instance).

This game was originally Japanese, designed by a hobbyist programmer calling himself "Pixel". It was translated into English by Aeon Genesis Translations.

I love this game. I stopped playing it like a year ago, though.

I never finished it, I got to....some point or other before losing interest.

This game is pretty much one of the best platformers ever created. It's simple, cute, and it works, and the levels were interesting.

I never did get the perfect ending though =(
