ARGH!!

Okay, yesterday (Saturday), my family was getting ready to sit down and watch WWE's Tribute to the Troops, like we have down since WWE started it. Now right as it was scheduled to begin, we were greated to a Channel 5 NBC logo. Naturally, I though that it wasn't going to be good. Then, the generic network VO comes on and says,

"We now interrupt our regularly scheduled program, World Wrestling Entertainment's Tribute to the Troops 2009, to bring you this special presentation."



Next thing that happens caused me to literaly facepalm myself: the "Special Presentation" was Show-me St. Louis, which is on at 3:00 PM C/T, Monday thru Friday. (Show-me St. Louis is kind of like a community newsletter that showcases the events going on in St. Louis) The entire episode that was SOOOOOO important was about.... a christmas play.

In my opinion, I don't believe that a Christmas play is more important than honoring the men and women overseas risking their lives to protect us!

Disgraceful. Honestly, a Christmas play documentary... over something that tributes all the men and women dying for their country. I certainly hope someone gets fired for that.
