And, yes, it is Yu-Gi-Oh!. I happen to like the game, show and manga. Too bad the dub sucked and it's spin-off wasn't that great either.

As for the show, I thought the dubbing wasn't THAT bad, it's just the horrible dialogue and editing. The Abridged Series was fabulous, though.

The only part of YGO thats still totally worth watching is the Egypt Arc and maybe the latter end of Battle City.
I want to maul WB, did they EVER show the Egypt Arc in the states?
And I too agree subs are better, voice and content wise. I think I probably liked the latter half of Battle City because the subtitled version was way more interesting then the dub XD

I haven't read that manga yet. It has still been published in here Finland, but I thought that it was to much like "little childs play" so I didn't buy it. I still think same...
I've seen one episode (yes...with AWFUL Finland dub...god...) but I still didn't like it...too much like Duel Masters...Which I hate also ^^

I like GX. I do admit it's a pretty bad show, really, but I love the sheer randomness and slashy goodness of it. :U
On topic: I've loved Yu-Gi-Oh since forevah but never got too into the card game. Too expensive.
And the Abridged Series is the best thing to spawn from YouTube ever.

I actually enjoyed Gx, up until they introduced the sacred beasts (which was like 16 episodes in..).
I thought the show would have a cool new, 'school life' theme to it, but they ended up going back to the 'evil bad guy shadow realm' crap from yugioh
