Transformers and DBZ are pretty different
One, the CGI bits concern giant mechanical robots, not giving the humans ridiculous hair and colourful battle auras.
Two, none of the human characters would have to wear enormous amounts of prosthetics and body paint in Transformers compared to those in DBZ.
Three, Transformers has a much more accessible plot idea. ("Big robots ZOMG!") and not something (very loosely) inspired by the Chinese Journey to the Rest story.
Very different movies.
DBZ would be best compared to say, the live-action wuxia stories, at least in terms of choreography.

I was saying since it's possible to make a live action Transformers movie decent-(it was about 60% in my rating), they could pull this one off to get at a passable rating.

About the CGI effects here, im just afraid it would appear too unrealistic, but it is DBZ we're talking about. a world of dinosaurs, hi-tech capsules, and evil aliens trying to destroy the universe...

No, wait. Goku is played by a 25 year old actor. Gawd, I just presumed he was a teenage kid since it read that he played a teenagor in "War of the Worlds" (I haven't seen that movie) My mistake. T_T
