Out of curiosity, I checked this out...and it's terrible, truly terrible. Alvin & co. "rapping" about the paparazzi and Escalades...WTH?

What makes me angry though, is that as a huge fan and advocate of Hip-Hop (just look at my name/avatar/sig), the Media and Hollywood, yet again bastardizes the art form by thinking that by making Alvin more "gangster" that he'll be "hipper." Wrong. Additionally, they think that by injecting "hip-pop" influenced tracks and having them "rap" will sell/appeal more...probably not. Truly sickening...I hate cash ins like this.
