Yes, G Gundam is epicly awesome in all its camp. Nowhere else will you see someone take down a mobile suit on foot with a belt. Speaking of which, my favourite character would have to be this guy:

GOD, I loved this show. I REALLY want to see the subs though, because I've forgotten most of the dub I saw (it was forever and a day ago XD). I'm sure they're probably 100% more graphic, sexy, and awesome. G Gundam FTW, dude.
Anyone remember who that one girl was (not Rain or whatever her name is) that had her own Gundam, and fought Domon in some kind of tournament or something? I think I remember her being all spunky and awesome. I know herxDomon was, like, one of my first favorite pairings. Rain annoyed me, but somehow I also liked her. '-'

That was Allenby, who was fiiiiiiine.
The God Gundam was crazy awesome, though a lot of that was Domon. One thing I really like about G Gundam is that with the Mobile Trace System, the power of the Gundam lies solely in the skill of the pilot.
That said, Domon wouldn't have known crap without The Undefeated of the East.

i actually started watching after i saw a g gundam joke ina phoenix wrong video.. after going a few years without watching anime, this show definitely brought me back into the "cheesy anime " spirit

God Gundam was the "Burning Gundam's" original Japanese name. They changed it to Burning in the US because when Gundam Wing came out, Wal-Mart got all pissy about selling Gundam Deathscythe Hell model kits. Thusly, the God Gundam became the Burning Gundam, the Devil Gundam became the Dark Gundam, and various other things were lamed down.
The Undefeated of the East refers to the great Master Asia.

Sure, it's real DBZ-ish in the way it's all "*calls out attack repeatedly and always wins XP* RAWRRR IMMAWEENCUZIPOWAUP!," but it's a classic to me. <3 I love shows like DBZ, Digimon Adventure, and the first season of Pokemon... they bring back memories. And besides... Domon and Allenby are sexy!

If I'm not mistaken, every episode past 144 belongs to FUNimation now. Still a shame, though, seeing as the Arabasta arc was one of the greats, and Viz could potentially fuck that up about as much as 4Kids did. Having heard the FUNi dub, though, I have to say it's a vast improvement and the future of dubbed One Piece looks bright.
