Thats just because when you make a series, anime game or otherwise, you overdo the steriotypes in order to make the characters exciting. Because there is a limited ammount of possible ways you can make a character, it's extremely easy to compare a series with one like Phoenix Wright that has tons of them. So really, this can be done with just about any series, really. Not that there would be any point in doing so.
