lol... Haruhi is one of the most over done anime I have ever seen in my entire life. As is Lucky Star. I also probably forgot to mention that Gundam 00 is WIN.
Anyways. I'd try to avoid trendy anime, because it's just.... lacking. One piece is beginning to repeat itself. I already stated my take on Naruto. And for the love of crap, Haruhi is like torture to those who actually watch anime that doesn't involve wagonhopping. What I'm saying is: There's a bunch of great anime that's not even getting its rightful respect. Watch some.

I love Case Closed, even though Conan comes so close to being a Gary Stu; I mean, he's ALWAYS right and ALWAYS solves the mystery.

But hey, it's still a great show. I also like Pokémon, but I think Ash should catch more Pokémon, focus more on major Pokémon battles (like the tournaments, those are the best episodes), and maybe even pick up his love life. As a romantic, it drives me nuts that he won't get involved in women.

Japanese Yu-Gi-Oh! is actually quite fun and exciting. Don't watch the American version, it's so badly butchered it is why most people don't like YuGiOh. Oh, and the Abridged version, it's side-splitting!

I also love the short-lived Kashimashi. Romantic, funny, insightful.

Case Closed AKA Detective Conan: Good call. It is a good series and it makes you think during the episode.

Pokemon: It is okay in some respects, but the anime itself isn't my cup of tea. Also, I'm surprised that you were waiting for Ash to make a move when Brock was right in front of you...

Japanese Yu-Gi-Oh!: I seriously don't doubt your opinion on this. I personally never saw the Japanese anime, but if it's anything like the Jump manga, then it is damn good indeed.

Yeah, it's good. Just wish someone ELSE could do mystery solving or have an episode about them, rather than Conan.

I'm waiting for Ash to get romantic because I like him more, I relate to him more, and he is closer to Misty, May, and now Dawn. Plus, Brock isn't going to get anywhere if Croagunk keeps poisoning his butt and dragging his unconscious body away. (Man, what I wouldn't give for some real Croagunk to do that in a high school, har har!)

It's actually kind of funny how much they censor YuGiOh. No guns, no cleavage (although large breasts are very common), no blood, no shirtless males, no punching, and when they censor things, they do it really poorly. ("Stop, or we'll shoot you with our invisible guns!")

I saw a really awesome episode of Yugioh raw, something about ... Bakura?'s past life? or something and he DIES. I think?
Uh. I hate Yugioh's English everything. He freaking drove people insane and to thier utter deaths in the first four eps in Japanese and it was AWESOME... TT_TT

Gokusen is pretty funny, I did enjoy Bleach for a while. If you like completely random and nonsensical, Di Gi Charat will rot your brain. I was amused. The eps are only about 11 minutes long, which is all one could handle at once.
Not very far in D. Greyman, but it's good so far. The Krory episodes are sheer win. I loved Gundam MS 08th team, really short, but the ending was sad. I loved Blood+, it just ended in English. TTGL is good, but I saw the raw of the last ep of that, and... I hear the end to Death Note is of similar feeling, but I'm still quite hooked, and I'm watching the dub on AS.
Didn't like Trinity Blood, but I don't recall why. My best friend loves it though.

If you want really old school, Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star and Trigun are classics. Akira is good for a mind trip.
