I liked the manga more than the anime (maybe it has something to do with that the anime was the english dubbed version, whose character voices i could'nt stand? My only fav's in that was the infamous "It's over 9000!","The balls are inert" and "Getting huge!"). The manga was good to the very end.

I am waiting for that DVD movie to come here were Goku is fighting against a new android and get's punched to the balls. Ema (Okay, that sounded weird.)

There are currently 13 non-canon movies and 2 canon movies; Bardock: The Father of Goku and The History of Trunks. All have been released in the US by Funimation and feature the Dubbed version and Original version with English subtitles.

Dang! That sure is a buttload of movies for one anime. Is there any other anime that tops DBZ as having the most movie spinoffs or does DBZ take the cake?

Oh geez! Thats crazy! I like the games and all, but the cartoon they could do without. I think they just wanted to beat Dragonball as the longest running series. *brick'd*

Same here, I have every DB and DBZ manga, though I also love the show for it's hilarity. I plan to get every season on DVD, and I already have the first.

I'd get the Season 1 Uncut boxset if I wasn't living in the Uk. Do you know any way of fooling a region 2 DVD player to think its multi-region?

dvds are split into regions. if u buy a dvd that isnt compatible with your region it will screw the dvd up and u wont be able to see it

lucky for me i have a universal dvd player

I didn't know they made different things like that, but then again, I live under a box.

It's to stop DVD imports mostly, or make people pay more money before they can anyway. It's very easy to get a multi region DVD player, but I doubt we're going to get one any time soon :F
