This show is so Japanesey I highly doubt it will reach mainstream attention in the US, and by Japanesey I don't mean "ninjas/samurai/magical schoolgirls with mystic po-........"

..

Anyway, it barely scratched mainstream Japan(it's only dominant in the otaku subculture; almost all the people I've met here either had no clue about this series or barely knew about it), so I don't think it'll make the average American teeny-bopper wanna go dress up like a bunny girl or a bubbly maid.

Also, that article was poorly written. :X

No, not really. :moe-laugh:

You said that you didn't think that Haruhi will go mainstream in the US, correct? Well if it doesn't go mainstream in the US, then the chances of it coming to the UK are very small indeed. Smaller than Captain Falcon being a witness in GS5. :welly:

Besides, the only anime shows I've ever seen in the UK are Pokemon and Yugioh, both of which are quite popular worldwide. :pokeman:

Well, it would be nice to actually watch a couple of the episodes before I splash out on buying the DVD. :haha:

YT sucks. Veoh has the episodes too.

Besides, it wouldn't be all-day. Just watch an episode or two.

man you sure are witty and clever

guess what: nobody but the japanese had it aired on tv. and johnny's right; there are a TON of ways to watch bits and pieces of it ahead of time. you could watch some parts of it on youtube for all of half an hour and decide if you want to spend the money or not.

NinjaMonkey: Are you using 56K? Otherwise, I don't see how you can't watch an episode or two online.
