In the manga for example, when Nekozawa was being conditioned to get used to light, it was Tamaki who was training him, not Renge-chan! x_x.. she wasn't necessary at all lol.

As far as the hosts go, Kyouya is my hands-down favorite. Calculating bastard+glasses=YES. But in the category of who I have the most fun reading, it's gotta be Kasanoda, followed by Mori's brother (Who really doesn't show up enough).
I really wish that Haruhi would remain an unpaired character instead of falling for Tamaki, but what're ya gonna do...

My favorites are probably Kyouya,(Glasses,and he threatens to kill you with his minions.You screw with Mom,you're gonna get PWNED.)
And then Hikaru.(He's just funny.)
My parents probably won't get me the manga,so I'll have to just read spoilers and watch the anime on YouTube.
Also,I hate Renge,and Mori scares me with his silence,even though he means well.Like a fricking serial killer.I dunno,I just usually associate talkative-ness
with friendliness.

Yes, I know I can read it online... but I'm one of those people who feels bad for stealing from manga artists without at least buying their American releases. It's a little scary how much of my bookshelf is filled with manga... -_-

Funimation has 20 eps of Ouran on their website. Pretty good quality too!
I first found this anime from Katsucon last year when I saw a few good music videos (full of spoilers but at the time I didn't know what was going on). Then I read a few volumes of the manga and really loved the artwork.
I know most people probably don't like dub but I watched the dub (on funimation) because I didn't want to read subtitle (got lazy) and thought it was actually good. Wasn't sure I liked the English OP but after a few times I really started to enjoy it.
Fav characters...they were all quirky and fun in their own way.
One of my fav arcs was summer vacation where Haruhi goes to work at a B&B and everyone follows along.
The anime ending was a bit abrupt, I'm sure the manga is better because it's still ongoing?

Even the author admits that the anime was better than the manga.
It's still an awesome manga at least, so I'm glad I can at least still read that.
