The movie UP was very touching. One of the most touching animated films in my short (I'm only 11) life. I don't exactly burst into tears in public, but inside, I was really shedding my tears.

And about the Asian conflict: What's the fuss about being Asian? My favorite singer, Leah Salonga is very proudly Asian and a Filipina at that, yet she speaks very well in English. So please. I'm offended.

((Sorry, just a wee bit irritated, being Class Pres., Secretary of the Student Council, and Treasurer of the Special Science Program...:D))

Your fave singer is Lea Salonga? I'm a Filipino and I'm also 11.
BTW, The Increds also featured suicide.

To summarize, a 10-year old girl suffering from terminal vascular cancer had a last wish to see Pixar's UP. But her condition became too unstable for her to go to the theater. Her Mom called Pixar fumbled though the answering machine service and low and behold a Pixar employee rushed over with a DVD. a poster, and some toys featuring the characters. She couldn't actually watch the movie due to the pain, so her Mom gave her a blow by blow description of what happened. She died 7 hours after watching the movie.

The Pixar employee left with the DVD but among the items he left was an Adventure Book, such as the one featured in the movie. Her mom is quoted as saying that she'll need to fill it in for her daughter.

My goodness, I was so close to crying in the theater, and here I am again. What's with you UP and making me emotional!?

I was gonna post about this, but I guess you beat me. :3
So anyway, I cried reading a freaking article about the movie.
I watched the movies with my friends, and I totally couldn't cry in front of them, but I did tear up 3 times. I *almost* lost control on the last part, when
Spoiler:
he looks at the Adventure book and goes into the "Stuff I'm Going To Do" section.

Cows. :D
Just cows.

CGI is highly overrated.

Ha, it's been a while since I've watched UP. It's currently my favorite Pixar movie, and I really do like all of them. Just not as much Cars, since I got bored from time to time in the story. Not good. Not bad either, just dull. Though I love the spoofs at the credits of their other movies... (YOU.ARE.A.TOY.CAAAAARRR.)

UP had great action, tearjerker/s, comedy (+dogs), an interesting villain, and a kid character that wasn't ~just there to be rescued~.
