The only thing good about this movie was watching Luna.

Other than that it should have been two parts, I mean they cut out fucking important plot stuff just for the shitfest romance.

I agree with you OMFG
Spoiler: The Ending
I mean cutting out Dumbledore's funeral just for the 3 heroes to be outlining their obvious relationships & looking at Fawkes & the lake was just plain unsatisfying

But I do think this movie was DEFINETLY better than Order Of The Phoenix. It was pretty epic on some parts but...yeah. As some of you have previously said, the movie is plagued with constant relationships probably to show how these almost 20-year olds are going through "puberty". I also laughed at the fact that at some points the characters were like "Yeah I know what you're gonna say, just get on with it".

Spoiler: regarding a creepy Potter moment
was anyone else creeped out at Harry's over happy behaviour after drinking the luck potion?

I would've been, but by that time, I think I was already creeped out to the limit that his happiness really didn't do anything. Too much lip locking basically was enough to make me feel cold.

I wasn't creeped out AT ALL. In fact, I thought it was one of the funniest parts of the movie. I've been to see it three times already (by the third, I thought it was far too long), but I LIVED for that part.

Actually, I was a bit creeped out by this at first. I thought, "OOC WHAT", but I laughed really hard when
Spoiler: ~
at Aragog's funeral, Harry said something in response to Hagrid's comment about his eyes along the lines of, "and what about his fangs? *makes fang shape with fingers and wiggles them around*"
It probably made me laugh more than it should've.
I loved the comedy... SO much better than Order of the Phoenix, IMO (I can barely remember the movie at all) :/

Not really. Harry was sorta like that in the book.

Yeah, this movie was pretty cool, I saw it twice...

First time I saw it, my mom was all like, "WHY THE HECK DOES HARRY LIKE GINNY? HARRY AND HERMIONE WOULD BE MUCH BETTER FOR EACH OTHER (referring to one scene)!" This was the first HP movie she saw and she's never read the books...

I had to explain that if Harry was with Hermione, that leaves Ron with Ginny, and that's a no-no. :beef:

I actually think Harry and Luna should have been together, along with Ginny and Neville...

But I do like Ron and Hermione together.

Seeing the last Harry Potter movie for me it was like seeing an old serial when you don't pay much attention to the subject and just watch on relationships of heroes

I really liked it - it showed way more important stuff than GOF. It was pretty epic too. Beautiful movie.

You know, fanfiction's site has a collection of over four hundred thousand HP stories. A good number are around the length of an actual Harry Potter book.

You may please yourself with those!

And I had wondered.

Spoiler: "Souls"
Did JK rowling plan out the horcrux thing in advance (like from the 2nd book), or was it just a spur of the moment kind of thing?

I stopped reading Harry Potter fan fictions from FFnet when the constant updates started to push back my favorite stories...

Sometimes in just two minutes, a story would fall from page 1 to 17.... :zenitora:

That's ridiculous. JK Rowling should sue.

According to something I read in an old interview, Rowling had the whole story planned out since before starting to write the first book. She just needed time to flesh out the details.

This was by far the most dissapointing movie of them all. They cut out some of the most important plot points to waste time on some retarded teenage romance subplot. I was hoping it would dethrone 3 as my personal favorite, but it is actually one of my least favorite of the movies.

Spoiler:
I don't want to beat around the bush, but compared to the first three, 4, 5, and 6 were just B-A-D. I mean, look at HBP for a second; how in the name of Jesus would Snape suddenly materialize in the girl's bathroom after Harry and Malfoy's tussle? It's like he was just... there. They didn't add Myrtle in, and it was her scream that got Snape's attention. Second, Harry didn't learn the other two spells from the book, so he had no incentive for using Sectumsempra. He did in the book, because he thought it was going to be something extremely useful, like the other spell from the book, Mobili Corpus.

The movie is done based by seasons. That's freaking horrible. What the movie does is highlight slightly important details from what ever happend from when they first came, Christmas, Easter, or the end of the year. Plus, there was supposed to be a giant fight at the end with Bill, Mr. Weasley, and Lupin and stuff. That didn't happen; ergo, Bill wasn't bitten by Greyback.

Ugh.

Just.... Ugh.
