your favourite web-slinger is gonna show up in at least one disney+marvel movie, rather than merely the ones produced by sony

they've raised my hopes quite expertly

despite what some people may think about the garfield spidey flicks, i think they're done really well.

I just hope Garfield gets to continue as Spider-Man in the Sony films. I heard talk that they might be changing actors again, and I'm not ready for that so soon.

I don't either, but I heard he did something that ticked Sony off a while back, so who knows.

I read something a while back saying garfield is no longer going to be playing Peter Parker which sucks I think it was on denofgeek.com

If so glad he's gone. Garfield's Peter Parker is too "cool".

Peter's a nerd! An outcast in school! Not some kid who is actually super cool and beautiful and skateboards around the halls like a badass.

i agree that he didn't really fit the image in the first movie, but he isn't shown with many friends, either.

by the second movie, i think his self-confidence is justified because of all his time as spidey

honestly though, you can't blame garf for that, it was really the writers' faults

I dunno...actors must have some say in the portrayal of characters. I look at the character as a collaborative effort I think.

Also not having many friends in the first movie just means he's a cool loner :-P when he should be a great deal more awkward (I think at least).

some say, sure. but if the intention is for a nerdy geek loser then i don't think they'd let him change it that much
