Well then it's my turn now!

Let me start of with TV-shows, it's basically only one called House M.D. In Germany season 4 is on-air right now and it's the only TV-show I'm interested in... And I guess I don't need to explain anything. :hotti:

It's rather different with the movies! Lately I really got addicted to romantic comedy and sometimes some action movies.

Yesterday I watched Notting Hill (produced in 1999) and it was really awesome! The two main actors are Julia Roberts (She plays Anna Scott) and Hugh Grant (He takes the role from William Thacker). Anna Scott is the most known movie star in the world and is about to give some interviews in the United Kingdom. One day she goes to Notting Hill - a district in London - and visits a travel book shop. Surprisingly William Thacker is the owner of the shop and he instantly notices who is giving him the honour to visit his shop. Sadly he isn't able to involve her into a talk and she soon leaves. After that "shock" he decides to go buy some coffee and an orange juice and -who would have guessed that?- meets Anna Scott. Not directly meet, rather run to each other. Now that he has ruined her blouse he invites her to his house -which is just across the street- to clean herself. That said I only need to mention that that's the beginning of an amusing but very romantic love affair with ups and downs.

Today I watched Mona Lisa Smile (produced in 2003) once again a movie with Julia Roberts. But three other beautiful ladies join her. I'm talking about Kirsten Dunst (Another one of my favourite actors), Julia Stiles and Maggie Gyllenhaal. I'm trying to get to the point faster. The movie plays around 1953 and Katherine Watson (Julia Roberts) just got a new job as a teacher at an only girls college. She decided - since the school follows old traditions and is basically only teaching the girls how to be a superior housewife - to mix the whole college up. In her lectures she presses the girls to think for their selves and not only to learn the things out of the books by hard. But the chairlady and it's congress as well as the student Betty (Kirsten Dunst) aren't that happy about the turn of the events.

And the day before yesterday I watched King Arthur (With Clive Owen, Keira Knightley, Ioran Gruffudd, Ray Winstone, Ray Stevenson and many others) - magnificent action and history movie. Watch it you'll understand what I mean! I even watched it in English!

One Piece...badly

I am a couple episodes away from the last aired to the day episode! :yogi:

Besides that one exception, I'm not much into tv this days...mostly movies (horror or thrillers most of them)
Kudos to Sammie for the avatar!

A dark setting, a mysterious murder, and a tale of survival....maybe? Try some horror-survival RP, try Black Cathedral

Last week I watched Wimbledon (Produced 2005) - a a romantic comedy movie about the topic sports. The two main characters are Lizzie Bradbury an American woman (Kirsten Dunst) and Peter Colt (Paul Bettany) an Englishman in its thirtys. While Bettany isn't in top condition and wants to stop playing pro-tennis after the Wimbledon-Championships Bradbury is in top condition and plans to bring the cup home. The two meet trough coincidence and the inevitable happens - they fall in love with each other. If it's coincidence or not, but Peter finds back to his top condition and is winning several matches - but Lezzy still has to decide what is more important: love or victory? A really captivating movie!

Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CjOEtOErJVY
In addition the move is from the same makers like: Notting Hill, Bridget Jones and Actually... Love

I think Yu-Gi-Oh! is always the same! It starts like they have both equal duelling powers, but then the opponent has a surprising trick and Yu-Gi is about to lose - BUT THEN he uses his trust in his cards and is simply winning the match... A very boring anime...

Well, you don't reallly have to, but I don't do it personally just to save space. Also, I would make a thread if I wanted to discuss a specific movie/tv serie.s

Not a Pink Floyd fan but it's cool animation. Today animation like this is easy. Back when that movie came out it was probably cutting edge.

Code Geass did very well in Japan and I can see why. So I can't complain about it. The Drinky Crow show isn't too bad actually, it's worth a few laughs. I must admit, I enjoy when he uses his suicide gun to "kill himself" and go on drinking. Also, I enjoy the art style.

Anyway, I just finished "Garfield's On The Town" and I gonna watch "A Boy Named Charlie Brown" and "Snoopy, Come Home" next.

I'm watching some oldskool lupin III anime, the original 1971 series! It's really quite amazing how often Lupin falls for Fujiko's traps no matter how many times she betrays him. Jigen is badass. It's really cool for me to finally see the original series because it's what my mom grew up on and she used to talk about it a lot.

King of the Hill's on now, but what I was just watching was one of the two latest Pokemon episodes in Japan, Cresselia vs. Darkrai. That was one that I really wanted to see because of course Darkrai is one of the coolest Pokemon ever (thanks to the 10th movie). Well,
Spoiler: tagged, as it won't be out in the US for a while
he didn't get a whole lot of screentime in this episode, and the battle wasn't particularly impressive and was actually a cute battle and reminded me of a little kid banging action figures together pretending they're fighting, but Cresselia was really pretty and Swinub was amazing.
It was surprisingly easy to follow without subs, which is good because I couldn't find it with them. XD
