The... seasons finale... was amazing.

I don't think it could of been really improved upon. Except for the commercials. At one point, there was a HUGE string of commercials, then House came on for less than 5 minutes, then another HUGE string of commercials, and most of them just ruined the mood. Thankfully we had a mute button, so we dealt with it that way.

Spoiler: Spoiler stuff about the episode, I guess?
I really didn't want Amber to die. I really liked her character. I loved how she paralleled house, how she was a match for him. And he had to deal with that.

But it was really necessary for her to die anyways. If she stayed alive, it would be almost guaranteed that she would end up with Wilson and they would be a happy, happy family. And then House wouldn't have anyone for company. If they wanted to keep Wilson on the show, Amber had to go. So, they did it in the most moving way possible. I'm so glad that they didn't just leave her on the table, half dead, and said 'Come watch next season if she lives or not!'.

>__>

I know I would of been crying if I was that kind of person.

... and seeing House cry... ;____;

Amazing episode. That's all I'll say. I love movies and shows that do this kind of stuff to me, tying me in knots. And they always radiate a great message: Treasure what you have and what you love, because you just never know.

... Pooor, pooooor Houseeeeee. I'm so sorryyyyyyyyyyyyyy.

Spoiler:
It depressed me a bit when House said that she OD'd on a drug, and the House had to explain that it was untreatable when Wilson thought it was. Then they woke her up just for her to find out she would die in a couple hours... I would rather have not been waken up and just left to die.

Spoiler: All about the episode
Amber was really a love-hate character for me. I was really sad to see her go for two reasons:
1) I adore Wilson. He's had too much suffering in his love life.
2) I adore the House/Wilson friendship antithesis dynamic. Having Wilson maybe thinking that it was House's fault for her death will cause some MAJOR angst in the next season.

...actually, I'm not sure whether or not (2) is a good thing or a bad thing. XD

I was watching it with my dad and sister, and if I had been alone in my room, I so TOTALLY would have cried with House. No questions asked. Heck, I almost did. I nearly choked up again when House admitted to Amber (well...it was during that dream/doorway to heaven/whatever you wanna call it sequence) that Wilson was his best friend and that he didn't want Wilson to hate him.

The thing that struck me most about Amber's death was how she found out. Wilson told her the details, up until the pills. That's when she figured it out for herself. That...I couldn't even IMAGINE what that must have felt like. Is that better or worse than being told? I'm not sure if I would rather be told I was dying or figure it out for myself. That's a kind of daunting revelation. Not to mention the fact that they woke her up for it.

Overall, it was the best, most horrible season finale I have ever watched.

One of my favorite shows currently on air.

All I gotta say is WOW @ this season.

Can't wait for the next.

Hopefully the DVDs will be a bit cheaper this season, since there was a lack of episodes due to the strike.

To the non-American people; the episodes are available on FOX's site quickly after they are broadcasted and are afterwards distributed all over the internet. I stopped following the Dutch television because it has horrible amounts of commercials and was very slow with the translating.

I must say I did shed at least one tear during the end because it reminded me of the recent loss of my grandfather on new year's day and how I never really got to say goodbye to him when he was alive.

This is my favourite show on TV, and it would be even if I wasn't a medical student. Hugh Laurie is a brilliant actor - and the season four finale was spectacular. I can't wait for the next one. House is my vicodin.

Did anyone catch Lisa Edelstein (Cuddy) in the penultimate episode? You know, in House's fantasy (when she's on the pole)? She looks amazing, especially for her age.

The last episode was brilliant. Spoilered to keep people from getting angry.

Spoiler:
Amber dying was somewhat expected of me. It would be anti-climatic to actually go through two parts to say she lived. And considering that it is the season finale, something big had to happen. Even though I was expecting it, it was, sad to see that Amber died and no one could have stopped it. Sorta' like the helplessness compounds the already bad situation.

The pole-dance Lisa did was, :edgy: You get my point. Smileys help express feelings that people don't want on the headlines of tabloids.

The best of all was that House spent most of his time hallucinating about diagnosing the bus driver, brilliant thing for the writers to do and all.

Brilliant, truly brilliant. Should be nominated for an award. Or has it already?

Dammit, I just love this show! It's just great how things happen there, and House's the best TV character evah.

Last episode here in Poland was the one with the boy being burned after riding on a quad.

I must say I think Three Stories (which has gotten loads of awards as well), is still the greatest episode up until now.

Little bump for start of Season 5. First episode started out great, then turned into a drama llama boring one. I hope they don't overdo it with that.

Well, of course it was.

Spoiler: Season 5 Ep. 1
With Wilson retiring to get away with House, how can it NOT be dramatic?

I loved Episode 2. New character for the win.

Spoiler: Season 5 Ep. 2
The new character, PI Lucas Douglas, really amuses me as House's new "friend". It made me lol when House was walking and talking with him, and how Douglas gave House the episode's epiphany.

Also, when House made the call to Douglas to suspend the woman's medicine... I saw it coming, but it was still funny. Especially the last shot of his argyle (sp?) socks.

I hear the creator's even got an idea for a spin-off show for Douglas...

I have a feeling that, like every other season, this one's going to be epic and then some.

I haven't seen episode 2 yet, but the first one would of course be dramatic - however, you can still overdo it. It felt very stretched near the end.

Woo! Thanks to THE INTERNET I can watch House despite not having regular access to a TV!

... Unfortunately it means I'll always be a week behind (guess that means I'm with you now, Tinker). :yuusaku: Ah well. I thought the first episode was pretty good.

Spoiler: I wonder
Will Wilson be written out of the show altogether or is this another OMG CHASE CAMERON AND FOREMAN LEFT OH WAIT THEY'RE STILL AROUND situation?

I just finished the torrent of episode two. Try downloading one when the episode has just aired, I got over 20000 seeders once.

Spoiler:
I doubt it. Wilson is too much of a core character for that.
Although I'm hoping he doesn't leave either, because he's my favourite character in there. Vision might be clouded.

Spoiler: Wilson
No, they haven't terminated his contract. He'll still be in the series, just not as much until after a few episodes. Supposedly he comes back to help deal with some problem... I'm not sure if it relates to House himself or not though, can't remember what the interview in EW (Entertainment Weekly) said.

This was also hinted in the TV Guide interview. Bromantic, indeed.

Yeah, this is my favorite live-action American TV show.

I finally finished watching the first four seasons, and the first two episodes of season 5. I can finally watch it on tv now. Last year, I was still watching season three, season four started, and I ended up missing it. I tried watching a random episode, but had no idea what was going on. I ended up renting the DVD. So glad I've finally caught up.

Way too many commercials though. I've gotten used to watching everything on the DVD's.

Download them or watch them online after they've aired. It'll be a little later, but it's generally worth it.
