What about the scene with the kid? I can basically see that kid's future as a bitch Shoe

Tobey Maguire as emo spiderman = yum yum!

I only went along to watch it for sh*ts and giggles 'cause the second movie was hilariously cheesy. I was not disappointed! Loved the little Guinness advert-style dancing - dork dork dork XD It was actually quite good, if you didn't have too high expectations of it ;)

I just got back from seeing it. I went to see it by myself at the earliest time available. The theater was very quiet and no kids! My siblings went to see it yesterday while I babysat my nephew. I love it. It concluded everything from the previous movies nicely. Having three villains really wasn't a problem. I followed the story well.

I liked it, but it was long!
Then Venom wasn't as bad as I thought he was going to be...I want to say more but some people still haven't seen it. Other than that the movie was REALLY good.

I saw it yesterday in an iMAX theater. LOUD. But good, nonetheless.

I didn't really care for the ending much. Not enough closure.

Hunh. I guess I'll just watch Spider-Man 3 after all the crowds go. Maybe in a few weekends.

While 90% of the people I talked to today liked to talk about how much it sucked, I liked the movie. One thing I've got to say is at least they pick good actors for the villains. I've liked all the actor choices in all of the movies when it comes to the villains. Yes, even Topher Grace as Eddie Brock. I liked him better than if they had a giant muscleman. I do think Venom was underused and that Sandman's final scene is annoying.

Spoiler: Sandman ending
"Sorry I killed your Uncle and just teamed up with a psycho to help kill you for no real reason, can we be super special awesome friends now?" Then he flies away... Huzzah for unfinished storylines.

All the fight scenes were great and I loved all the comedy bits, such as J.J.'s scenes and the "rebel" Pete. I especially thought Bruce Campbell's cameo was awesome. A few things that annoyed me were Peter's crying scenes (for the love of God, someone teach Toby Maguire how to cry so his face will stop making me laugh) and the face that the masks everyone wore were gone after mere seconds of their appearance. Spidey's mask got ripped off so damn much that it started to get annoying and Venom looked much better with the mask (at least they gave Grace some fangs). I wish Venom had said "We are Venom" or... you know, have his name mentioned at all in the movie. I was expecting a little more tongue and green saliva.

I'm already thinking about the next movie, which I know will be made. There are already four possible choices that have been set up and plenty who could just appear not set up through the other movies, like Doc Ock and Sandman.

Spoiler: General spoilers
There's the possibility of Venom surviving since there was no body. Carnage is a possibility with that bit of symbiote left that Dr. Connors has in his lab. Then Dr. Connors himself as Lizard is always a possible villain, since he's been set up as Parker's friend and teacher in the last two movies.

They need to introduce Mysterio sometime along with Carnage and maybe Venom. Let's see who am I missing... well, Doc Ock is dead (as proved by movie 2) and there can be no more Green Goblin or Hob Goblin. They still need to introduce Rhino and Lizard along with the symbiotes.

I think there are still a lot of loose ends. I'm not sure since I've barely read the comics and know as much about the Marvel universe as I do quantum physics.

And, I could totally see this happening:

Venom: "Sandman! What does the scouter say about his anger level?"
Spider-Man: >:(
Sandman: It's over NINE THOUSAAAAAAAAND!!"
Venom: "What!? Nine thousand?!"

It's only understandable if you see the movie. I made a joke in the theater when Peter was in his apartment acting emo and angry. I was joking around saying "His anger level's over NINE THOUSAAAAAAAAND!!"

I saw it last sunday and it was great the only disappointment is the lack of black spiderman fights and how late venom comes into the movie.

My god this movie was such a train wreck I don't even know where to begin, except for the odd hope that Spiderman 4 will never, ever happen.

Also, I was unaware that somewhere around the halfway point the theater replaced S3 with The Mask for about 20 minutes.

At least Bruce Campbell was funny.

Also this may be me, but I could have sworn that Dr. Connors had both arms in Spiderman 2. Did I miss something?

There were some great funny scenes, particularly with Jameson. I didn't like the fact that Parker went all emo with the black suit, that was silly. I enjoyed the Sandman though.

Now it's time to look to the future. You almost know the Lizard is gonna pop up, as he's been mentioned many times so far.

I LOVED it, and I'm a terrible person for that. I just love the cheesiness, the way he's all 'evil' then get reformed and becomes good ^^ He also goes emo, which was funny. I mean, he got eyeliner and did his hair in a mirror! How cool?

I'm afraid I have to agree - as much as it sucks as a movie, I imagine Sam Raimi certainly had a lot of fun directing it. (I'm thinking a lot of the bad writing and cheesy scenes were done on purpose now)

You proved my point from the "Everything I need to learn, I learned from CR" topic;

- You can't read a thread without reading "It's over NINE THOUSAAAAAAAAND!!"

And yeah, the Lizard will most likely pop up next movie o.O

I saw it the day it came out. I found it a bit two long. I thought that there were one too many villians(Venom), and I just found it too conclusive.
Don't mind me, just passing through.
