Nothing can beat:

"No, I am your father!"

I think it was rather well done. Most of the set was actually built. Such as the scene with obiwan standing on the ridge next to the lava flow. Of course we all do know almost most of that entire scene was shot with Blue Screen but, why let that little fact sppoil the fun :D.

The final lightsaber duel on Mustafar wasn't digitally edited, too. At least, not the speed of Obi-Wan and Anakin's fighting, excluding Obi-Wan's strike jump which had one frame removed to make the jump more "extreme". But yeah, special effects were abused like hell. :|

I would freak worse then Luke. :S

Is that on the DVD version? The latest version of the Original Star Wars trilogy I got is the 20th anniversary edition trilogy on VHS. Thank god I don't have to face the eye torture of the newly enhanced version.

Your lucky, the 20th Anniversary editions are extremely hard to fine!

As for me...I am stuck with the new versions, but at least it's better than nothing.

We got the trilogy on video right when it came out. The only difference between the original and the 20th edition is that the graphics and color are enhanced, so it pretty much maintains what the original had, it just looks better.

Well, for one thing, he died on December 23, 1994.

I find it an insult to the man to have a mediocre actor's head pasted on his body. :|

Well, now that I know about the 2004 edition, I'm staying far away from the DVD set. I'll stick to my 20th anniversary VHS videos. I just pray they don't die on me one day.

There are video recorders that connect with A/V and other video cables. They usually come with some kind of video capture software.

Heh, you know what the ironic thing is? Hayden Christensen says he was completely unaware of the change. My guess is they used advanced super-imposing to make his head fit on Sir Sebastian Shaw's. Still a pitiful change, though. :|

Not to be over-serious about this, but it's not that stupid. After 30 years of fighting the dangers of the galaxy, it's really not realistic that NOBODY ever dies. Maybe Chewie wasn't the best choice of a character to kill off, but someone had to go; just be grateful it took an entire moon to kill him. One of the worst parts of the EU right now is that the characters are getting stale; Han and Leia's kids are thirty now and you've still got Luke running around everywhere. It's certainly time to kill someone off.

He was revived, I believe. Kinda like that scientific experiment with the frogs where they revived them after being cryogenically (how do you spell it?) frozen, and they were just fine.
Thus ends my hypothesis that Han Solo is a frog.
Didn't Grievous die too? He was awesome.

Yeah, one of the things I thought was lame about EU is how old the characters are getting. Aren't they all in their 60's now?
