I'd have to say my favorite Christmas movie of all time is The Polar Express. When I first saw it on DVD (We never got it at our theater) I found a movie that made mer remember what it was like to enjoy Christmas as a child.

Yes!!! I totally forgot about Polar Express! I saw that on TV last year, and it just made Christmas seem all magical to me again like it did back when I was a kid.

Probably its a wonderful life (sort of a tradition) and many other modern xmas specials that I've forgotten about. I LOVE the futurama specials more out of all of the other xmas things I've seen.

Am I the only person who thinks A Christmas Story is overrated? Though I guess I shouldn't criticize too much, as I'll always love the first two Home Alone films.

The story is over-rated because it's about Christmas. There are really a lot better stories.

I don't really like too many modern Christmas movies. They make me sick to my stomach, for the most part.

But I love the Albert Finney version Scrooge, and A Christmas Story (I get to, because my dad grew up right around where the house they used was), Nightmare Before Christmas, and Muppet Christmas Carol.

Oh, and nearly every single one of those old stop-motion things from back when. I glue myself to the television when those come on. Except for Frosty Returns and Rudolph's New Year or whatever the name of that one is. Those two can burn for all I care. But all the others? Heck yes. Even Little Drummer Boy. Stop-motion is <3.

The only movie I can think of like that is "Nightmare Before Christmas". I've never seen it, just in Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2.

Black Christmas?

You might also be thinking of Silent Night, Deadly Night. I found that was a stupidly funny movie along with it's even stupider and funnier sequel

I don't have any 'cause I'm Jewish... kidding! Even Jewish people like X-mas! My favorite Christmas special/movie would have to be Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer. :D

And just to spread the Chanukah spirit (even if it did end already) my favorite Chanukah special is the probably the only one ever made outside of Israel: The Rugrats Hannukah Special.

Rugrats were awesome! I miss them. They probably had the best cartoon ever. And they did do lots of realy good specials. Most cartoons seem to die after they get a movie (or so I feel) but Rugrats had three movies and a spinoff before they finished. That's stay power.
That wasn't realy that close to topic was it...
Um... They had like a new Christmas special every year even tho they never get older. Have you ever wondered about that?
