I actually tried that site so that I could make another vid (won't give any hints away) and it actually worked! Seriously people, if you want to download Haruhi episodes, this is the best site.

At first...I didn't think this show was capable of action, let alone political stuff-the three different organizations involved. I thought it was just a regular social high school comedy. It's actually a socio-political comedy plus action, with Phoenix Wright.

yeah i know. me being an obsessive kind of fan, started reading the light novels from which the books are based, and you start to understand more of what each group is about.

i mean....

1. Mikuru and Kyon time travel for reasons "unspecified/classified" by her organization
2. New members of Koizumi's organization get involved.
3. a shocking turn of events changes the way of nagato's group's operations

All of this happens while still providing a comedic reading experience. it makes me enjoy reading again

IS THIS A DANCING ANIME? =P

I missed the days when Haruhi was still a rather unknown, before the popularity boom. The popularity boom has made it not as likable I'm finding. =/ I mean..it IS good, definitely one of the best of 2006, but it's not as good as some people like to believe. (If we want to talk about anime in 2006, Ouran beats it in my opinion and some people could argue Death Note or Code Geass or Higurashi, although I'm not really into either of those 3) I just find how overhyped it's becoming to be turning into a turn off for me unfortunately...

Needless to say I am eagerly awaiting season 2.

I feel almost the complete oposite. I live in north jersey, which is like a no man's land for anime fans. Most of the people around here who openly enjoy anime are shunned. So for me, anime is a hobby i keep to myself. Since no one around here particularly likes anime, you don't get that much hype about stuff. the only anime around here that anyone watches were dbz (which i loved), and naruto (which i don't watch).

As for the Over-hypedness, it really doesn't effect me, as long as i watch something because i want to and not because everyone is telling me to. Really, the only opinion that should matter about how good the show is, should be yours.

And Season 2 is going to be awesome

There's no hype here in the rural Canadian town where I live either. But there's still PLENTY of it on the internet.

I try not to let it bother me (my favorite anime is FMA and some people can argue that's overhyped) but it does get annoying. I guess it doesn't help that I watched it a year ago, so the excitement for me has died down.

It's still good and one of my favorites, I just find this extreme popularity a little annoying. It makes me worried that Haruhi will end up like Evangelion which is one of the most overhyped animes in existance, and I don't care who shoots me down for saying that. >_>

im not sure if anyone noticed, but there was a random Gundam reference in Day of saggitarious 3.

Haruhi says, "lauch the ***dams " A blurred image of a gundam appears and fires a laser
Kyon says,"Here I go! Wait!", and then the episode continues like normal.

Why was that reference there?

Wasn't because the creator was such a big fan of Gundam? :yuusaku: What I also found funny was that when it was launched, the background was a blue sky with puffy clouds, while the background in the game was the space battlefield. XD

And, when we first watched that, andrx, I thought it was something else... *coughcoughhinthintnudgenudgeoinkoink*

having read up to the middle of novel 5 and seeing the crappy official trailer for season 2, i have deducted the following...

--one of the stories from book 3 is pivotal to the rest of the series, so the story "bamboo leaf rapsody" will appear in season 2. the other stories in novel 3 were already made into episodes for the 1st season.
--the entire 2nd book was about the making of the movie. i doubt it will appear, but there is still a chance it might
--the two stories from book 5 that weren't used in season one will be made into episodes
--the focus of this season will be the 4th novel "the disappearance fo haruhi suzumiya", the same way that the first novel was the focus of season 1.

if anyone else has read the books, i'd love to hear your ideas. oh, and if you want to read a great english translation of the book series, go to: http://www.baka-tsuki.net/project/index ... iya_Haruhi

I'll help I suppose. I only watched the series twice. I like the chronological in a way as it keeps the story in order, but I also like the Kyonological order, because it saved the climax for the last episode and let the season go out with a bang. I really don't have a preference.
On April 3, 2016, Court Records Forums experienced a miracle upon that day.

Airing order. The climax is actually at the end. Watching it in chronological order is fine for after you've seen it in airing order. I wish Bandai hadn't been forced to only put chronological on the regular DVDs, but that's what the special editions are for.

I saw this anime (in chronological order) a few days ago. Pretty good, I'd say.

Especially considering I've often been wondering if I'm in a same position as her. :gant:

I mean, after SO many 'coincidences' and preminitions and events that seems to circulate about my personal agenda, it should be quite natural to test out wether or not the world is actually bending to my will. Although I still havn't managed to do anything supernatural (which has led me to believe that the world is, actually, real :P), it is fun how they build an anime that so clearly shows that entire point.

Well, I guess I'm not the only one, then. :keiko:

the airing order does give the show a more satisfying ending. after watching it chronologically i was like "what a bad ending!!!"

but on the other hand, it's really confuing to watch it in airing order

That adds to the interest, at least for those of us who watched it in airing order. When you're watching the baseball episode, you wonder, what's so scary about Haruhi, who's Itsuki, what can Yuki do and why? And you keep watching. If you were watching in chronological order, you'd already know all these things.
