I'm betting in the near future, we'll get Animated Movie, Parody Movie, and the king of it all, Movie Movie.

Bah, maybe I should just become a film writer, I can write crappy cliche pop culture filled scripts and outtakes, and string them together to form a movie.

As a curiosity, I rented Epic Movie a year ago and HATED it. I haven't seen Date Movie or Meet the Spartans, but I'd imagine it's more of the same: random cultural references, obnoxious bathroom humor, shameless product placement, and lame, tired jokes. God have mercy on this confused generation raised on "random humor" and Family Guy.

Despite the near universal loathing from critics, audiences buy into this crap and they make enough money on opening week to recuperate the 5 bucks they spent making the movie. I wonder why, this shit stopped be funny sometime around Scary Movie 3.

I'm tired of this kind of humor. It's just full of randomness. The comedy I enjoy would be that of Coming to America and Harlem Nights. We need more of that.

I just watched "Space Balls" last night for the first time. I didn't think it was good lol I only liked the part at the end when the tiny alien popped out of that guys chest; that was the best part of the movie.

I liked Scary Movie (just the first one) and Mafia.

The original Scary movie is no diffrent from the ones we see nowadays, as all of them are horror films terribly strung together with useless pop culture refrences and nothing resembling humor. The original scary movie is on the same level as that POS ripoff 'Shriek If You Know What I Did Last Friday the Thirteenth'

Mafia was just plain stupid. I have laughed harder at THE ACTUAL GODFATHER as opposed to the parody of it. The worst scene was the one in the strip club. They tried there hardest to be funny, AND FAILED MISERABLY.

I love Scary Move 3 and can stand the other Scary Movies on occasion (we try to avoid watching anything too much anyway), but for a disaster comedy, we have Airplane!, which is hilarious and unlike this probably will, doesn't go overboard with the sex and poop jokes!

I thought the movie had bad jokes and it wasn't that funny.

Actually, I think the first one is VERY different than the others. I'm not saying it was GREAT but it wasn't terrible like the others. I enjoyed it.

Mafia is a silly movie and it made me laugh at it's stupidity. I think all parody movies are dumb but it can be dumb and make you laugh or not.

I liked scarey movie 3, scarey movie was okay and I heard scarey movie 2 was really bad so I didnt see it XP

I acutally enjoyed Epic Movie and Meet the Spartains. For each one, we gathered all of our freinds, and enjoyed it. (Although Meet the Spartains was too short, and some of the jokes weren't too funny).

Not the best, but decent.

Maybe because I'm a nerdy kid like that ^_^.

Words cannot describe the searing pain I endured while witnessing this monstrosity of a travesty of a catastrophe of a trailer in theaters.

These movies are the WORST. With the idea that "the best parts are in the trailer" in mind, I think I can now safely say, without hyperbole, that I'd rather be KICKED IN THE BALLS than be forced to sit through "Disaster Movie." It looks that bad.

On the plus side, I just saw WALL*E and it was amazing.

I liked the first Scary Movie. The second one was okay, but I hated the others. The ratings dropped and the substituted the decent jokes for terrible bathroom humour.

On a side note, Robin Hood: Men in Tights was wonderful :D I also like the Princess Bride. It sort of plays on the whole fairytale cliché crap :P The book is much better, though.

Sadly, The only sure fire way of stopping these types of shitty movies is to kill. Kill the people who make them or do a HUGE genocide and get rid of every idiot who loves these types of movies. The first scary movie....They can live. It was decent. The others all need to die. It will be the only way.

The problem is, when these movies keep raking in the big bucks, that tells Hollywood that this is what people want to see. Why should directors bother putting out good movies when they can make more money making these stupid Family Guy-esque parodies?

Not much you can do about it besides try to get people not to see it, though.
