Seriously, why is there such a cult surrounding that show? It's a group of people living in a house being filmed. I mean, woooooooop! ![]() Oh, and they shouldn't have put a blind guy in there. He's gonna go through hell. |

FINALLY. Some actually realises that Big Borther is a lot of people sitting in a house being bored for 4+ months. And THEN some people obesseively have to know what has happened in the last 10 seconds. I'm sick of it. |

It bores me. I watched the opening show for some reason. I feel sorry for that poor blind guy, they shouldn't have put him in. And the girls always ending up hating each other and that gets boring. If you wanted to see girls fight, you could see that almost anywhere. It's seriously overrated. |

You should all die. Nahh I'm joking, it's lame to get all worked up over a TV show. Anyway, Big Brother is one of my all time favorite shows of all time (that's not redundant at all) BUT I do live in the US so maybe it's less sucky over here? I dunno. I freakin watch it RELIGIOUSLY though - I almost skipped out on the junior varsity dinner at my school to see the finale. But I got home in time to see the very end where James (aka the best houseguest of all time kthx) won the favorite juror prize so I was happy. |

I watched the first couple of seasons of Big Brother. (I live in the U.S.) I stopped watching it after that. I guess I just forgot about it. During the last season (can't remember which one), I tried to watch it. I was almost bored to tears. It has gotten even more stupid than it was at the beginning. My mom still watches it on occasion, though. The only reality show I've ever really liked was The Mole. (The first and second seasons. NOT the celebrity one.) |

What about the third season? Anyway Mole is the best. Nothing like watching people half naked running around begging for clothes. btw I remember some reality show with something to do with some murder thing and few month or a year or two later my mom told me the guy who won died. I forgot when. btw2 I also don't like Big Brother. |

I like some reality shows myself, (Survivor, the Amazing Race, the Mole, etc.) but I never got into Big Brother. It just bored the hell out of me. I tried to watch it, I really did... I just didn't like it. *shrugs* I've heard that the versions in other countries are racier. XD (I've only seen the American version.)

It's also the worst way to become famous (even more than a YouTube celebrity, because in the end, you're still not a celebrity). Who wants to be remembered as "that angry chick from Big Brother", when you can become famous through something that requires you to do something, like singing or acting? It was an interesting concept at first when the first season came out, but it quickly became old and boring when people realized that it was just a bunch of losers living in a house, and that became apparent in the UK at season 3/4. And by selecting people who's cultural differences and lifestyles clash with each other (one thing I've noticed now is that they always pick an It girl, a gay guy, a guy from the 'hood and an angry girl), it's too obvious that they're trying too hard to keep prolonging it, and that's what put me off. Just donate the prize money to charity and stop taking Everybody Loves Raymond off the air every weekday morning! |

They may be good, but they might not be stage material. Some people feel that they MUST be known by EVERYONE no matter what or how. They can change someone, or ruin someone, but they just want to be known. I know nothing of the show, but if it BLOCKS Everybody Loves Raymond, it's the WORST SHOW EVER. ^_^. |

Well, not singing per se, but many people have a talent, and if you're going to try and become famous, you should do it by expressing your talent, whereas if you become a celebrity just because you were on a reality TV show, or some other reason, that's no good. And hey, if you don't have a talent and want to be famous, then too bad. It sucks to be you. It's better to be a talentless nobody than a talentless somebody, in my opinion. |

Big Brother (in the UK at least) was great up until about BB5 (apart from BB4 <_<; ), from then onwards, people just go in there to become famous. Saying that, I still watch it. Has there ever been a series of BB where 2 people haven't gotten into a "relationship"? >_< Just ONCE I want to watch a series where a couple doesn't develop, but I don't think that'll ever happen now. I don't really get why people say "Big Brother is just people in a house living". Have you watched any of them? I mean, techniquely it is people living, but surely 10 million or so people wouldn't watch that. I surely wouldn't, yet I do, and enjoy it O_o; There are times when it's really rather funny. Well, for me at least :P |

I think my biggest tick is that in TRL (do they still have that?) they don't even bother fully showing the whole footage of the chosen music videos. They like, show 5 seconds and that's it more random discussion and "AAAHGHG UR SO HAAAAWT SCREECHNIKSFUH!". Not even the number one pick manages to get shown fully. Like really we're only watching to hear the names of what song got the higher ranking rather than the music itself? |

It went even lower when the contestants stopped pretending with the whole "It's a spiritual journey for me" (which made me laugh every time) and started saying "I'm just here to win, and you can't stop me!". I watched up to half of series 7. Now, it's exactly the same, down to the personalities of each housemate. I don't see what keeps getting people interested. If you want to watch people living, you can look through your neighbor's window. Sure, there's a chance you might get arrested, but that makes viewing actually exciting. |

They should at least put some other reasoning or doing with the people on the show... Like in the Philippines (they DO have a Big Brother though) there's this other show that has a similar format but it's reasoning is to train all these people into singing/dancing idols and such. And there's this other American(?) gameshow ...like an isolation/survival type of thing where all the contestants each are in their own cubicle/pod (so they have no clue on the others except a number). They can only live through what's provided for them and they must surpass all the challenges and exercises they must do for an amount of days until who finally gives in. Forgot the name... |

Every season past the fifth season I just watch it to mock it. Especially the last season with Natalie. First, she was Miss Numbers, then she was Number Jesus, then, just before she was evicted, she was Two-Timing Number Jesus. The only guy I ever respected in any season, just because he made you love to hate him, was Dick. |
