Best movie of the year, by far. Heck, best movie I've seen in several years.

Go see it. Get the full theatrical experience. Avoid reviews, avoid spoilers, and just enjoy the ride.

For some reason, that robot in Wall*E reminds me of the robot from the Short Circuit movies. XD

I may have to check this movie out, though. ^_^

I just got back from watching Wall*E and enjoyed it a lot. I avoided reading anything about it before seeing it.

The opening short animation is hilarious too.

Yes, yesterday was opening night. Sadly, we weren't as swamped as I thought we would be. It's G. Not many G movies anymore. And we still had more teens in than little kids. I don't think I get it.

Could it be that little robots scare away children? Plus, even if they did go see it, I'm sure they wouldn't understand it anyway.

I still wanna see Wall-E but the closest movie place is the next state over...:larry:

Wheeeeeeeeeeeee! I just got back from seeing this movie! It was fantastic!

What really impressed me was that going in, I had only the vaguest idea of what it would be like, aside from "Robot goes around and does stuff" as well as "Oh it's Pixar, so of course it's good!" But then it goes and has this incredible science fiction storyline. Wonderful!

I just saw it this morning! WALL-E IS SO FULL OF LOOOOOVE! :D It's so sweet and contains a very real message that we should watch out for in the future.

P.S. Eva is badass.

I went and saw it on it's premier day (my father knew how much we all wanted to see it, and he wasn't going to be seeing us for eight days. So, he decided to take the family out.)

...

I adored this film.

I really agree with the reviews I've read- "The robots are more human than ourselves". The cute love story compiled with it's dark themes of our future gives a huge impression on everyone that watches it. We're confronted with a possible outcome of our society- and that's just what they wanted kids to see.

I'm glad that they focused heavily on Earth's environmental problems. I'm sure that this will sink into our new generation- and our older ones. Let's hope that this movie makes a difference. Because I know it did for that kid sitting next to me.

Absolutely stunning!

Pixar, I love you and always will. Ratatouille, Cars, Toy Story, A Bugs Life, Finding Nemo, and all those I've missed. They were great. They spell out half my childhood movie watching. And I'm so glad <3

And it's the only thing that keeps Disney movies actually credible.

Everybody came Sunday.
Disney's name gets slapped on a Pixar movie because well, they own Pixar. Families trust Disney, and they come flooding in. Then the kids get older, they hear of a Disney movie. Guess what they do? They go watch it too. And those Wall-E watches are a huge hit.
The little kids are actually sitting QUIETLY through the movie. Normally we get a kids movie and we turn into a day care. They don't really GET Wall-E, true, but they love Wall-E. I don't know how Disney/Pixar did it!

I saw this movie the other day, It was a great movie, I loved the message behind it too.

I'd recommend it to anyone.

Anyway previews... Previews... Saw some movies of interest, and saw some terrible ones. Most notably the "Chihuaha" one, luckily my brother reminded me that kids movies aren't supposed to be good and I felt better.

I WANTED to see this, but my friend dragged me to Get Smart instead >_>
Don't get me wrong, I liked it, but Wall*E seemed more worthwhile.
So maybe this weekend.

At first I thought "Ugh, this looks dull as hell, Robot Operating Buddy is going dumpster-diving for two hours." But then I realized there was more to it, and now I anticipate seeing the film

I just wish Disney would make some two-dimensional animations like they used to.

I saw it over the weekend and thought it was fantastic. Such great characterization for non-organic characters and so much personality. Really makes a lot of other movies pale in comparison. Most of the previews looked epically bad, but the movie itself was amazing. And the cute little short before the film was great as well!

...Wall-E and R.O.B. would be great buds.

Srsly, go see this movie.

Post subject:  Re: WALL*E--I love you, Pixar

Okay, I watched the movie in theaters today. It was hella worth the ticket price (it helped that I went to a matinee :P). Best fucking animated movie I've seen this year since Kung Fu Panda and best I've seen ever since Toy Story 2. Pixar have really outdone themselves this time and it'll be difficult to try and make something as epic as this ever again.

Since the movie is fairly story-driven and not everyone has seen it, I'll mark everything from this point on in spoiler tags.

Spoiler:
The whole movie was very cute. It couldn't seem to make up its mind on whether to let WALL-E or EVE steal the show so it balanced out nicely with both interacting incredibly well. The chemistry between both was amazing despire how awkward it seemed throughout.

I have a few nitpicks about it, though. I couldn't help but feel like I had seen this whole thing before, just with a splash of metallic paint over it. Oh, and those malfunctioning robots were hella random. One minute they're going bat-shit crazy and then next they conform to WALL-E and EVE's side was a serious WTF moment. Oh, and the ending was more or less predictable (I won't spoil it here ~_^) but it at least tried - and partially succeeded - in keeping me on the edge of my seat.

Overall, I definitely recommend seeing this movie. It's fantastic to say the least!

I haven't seen it yet. I haven't even read a single review on it. I just know its a masterpiece. All of Pixar's films are genius. Sheer genius. They have never once had a flop, and they are the master of the "Family Movie" genre.
Mother thinks he does look like Short Circuit though xD. I find WALL-E cuter.

Spoiler: Just in case, but nothing relating to WALL-E
Toy Story 3 comes out in 2010. With a storyline of either Andy going to college, and the toys getting to a nursery center, and/or Buzz Lightyear getting recalled. Sounds pretty epic to me. <3

OMG OMG OMG I love this movie so much so much so much~~~

I saw it Tuesday and I've been obsessing over it since. It's my favourite CGI movie ever, and that's including weeaboo shit like FF7 Advent Children and Appleseed. Wall-E is the greatest CGI movie ever and I just wanna buy all the video games and toys and stickers and everything because of how cute it is!

Though as of today, the only thing I've purchased as the U-Repair Wall-E figure. I also wanna buy the remote control Wall-E and the Search 'n Protect Eve figures.

Man, the movie though, it was so great (even though the scene where Wall-E shows different things he found to Eve, and she unknowingly uses them the way they're supposed to be used was stolen from something else...I just can't remember at the moment). Every character was so likable and adorable... and near the ending almost made me literally cry due to how sad it was.
