Eyes are everything... almost.

I might see this movie, but I don't like going out much.

I saw this movie today. It was amazing! At first I thought, "How the heck are they going to pull this off? They're robots, so they can't act the same as humans." Boy, was I wrong. Pixar makes these robots so full of emotion, even though few words are actually spoken between them. I would say this is a great film for people of any age to go see.

really? lol I haven't seen it but from what I have heard and seen (trailers), it looks boring...

anyways, I thought it was a really cute movie. I would watch it again.

Don't shoot me, but I didn't really like the movie. It seemed too drawn-out; the plot seemed better suited for a short film than a full-length movie. They spent way too much time on parts that only need a few seconds. *shrug* It was okay, but not great. Definitely the worst Pixar movie out there.

I loved a Bug's Life, Toy Story, Finding Nemo and especially the shorts Pixar does before every film, so I can't wait for this. Stupid Europe.

Wall-E is the most adorable thing ever! Regrettably I've only seen 3 Pixar movies (Finding Nemo, Cars, and Wall-E) but they have all been awesome. I gotta watch The Incredibles and Ratatouille one of these days.

I saw it this past weekend.
I'll tell you, it had a different feel than other Pixar movies. This movie seemed to focus a bit less on witty charm (not that there wasn't any) but more on meaningfulness.
I cried to myself like a wimp every time they played that song about falling in love.

But it still failed to best the BAWWW-fest I had when I saw Across the Universe.

Wall-E is way too damn cute. XD I wasn't sure about the movie at first, but I got more excited about it, and then went to see it when I was away from home (I was at a convention-ish thing, and we had a day off to go to the mall). I then dragged my sister out, and she DEFINITELY wasn't sure about the movie, but she liked it in the end.

On the future releases, though...I'm so, SO glad that the Bear and the Bow takes place in Scotland. XD

Best animated movie I've seen in a while. Better than most over Pixar films, on par with Toy Story and Finding Nemo.

This had humour and a wonderful plot. Wall-E was so cute. Left my expectations in the dust. Not to mention it made me think.

"Presto and his Hat of Wonder" was also hilarious.

I loved Wall-E as well, the animation was top-notch quality as expected of Pixar. The look and feel of the movie also has seemed to mature quite a bit. (until the humans came in)

Only two things that bugged me:

1) I thought it was weird that in the video footage and ads on the spaceship had realistic humans in them, while the people in the future are all plasticy and cartoony. Shouldn't they both be plasticy and cartoony? Or are they insinuating that we'll all turn into cartoons in the future? :yuusaku:

2)
Spoiler: ending
Am I the only one who thought either Wall-E should've stayed a soulless robot, or stayed "dead"? The fact that Eve was able to recreate his personality "glitch" seemed too convenient and Disney happy ending-ish to me. :yuusaku: Or at least.. present that part a bit better.

I dunno.. logically that's how it should've been. :yogi: I'm not being pessimistic.. it just seemed like one of those stories where a character's death sometimes makes a story more epic than if they DIDN'T die.. or "fake" a death.

But that's all that really bothered me.

And I loved the end credits. Art geek right here! :edgy:

1) Recall the one scene where we get a zoom-in of progression of different pilot portraits as it goes from the real photo, to the current. It's sorta implying that the population gets so unhealthy and terrible to the point where it almost looks impossible and fake. And they actually pulled it off pretty well. I guess in this case they wanted to use footage instead of their standard cartoony-but realistic animation to give off a more emotional attraction in their message.

I was glad this movie won the oscars. It's the most deserving i'm sure of all the nominees. The best animated movie I have watched so far. Just makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Spoiler:
But better watch this movie with a special someone. Because the real feel good moments of this movie are the holding hands part. And you should have someone to hold hands with. or else... SOBS..
