I saw it, and personally, I love Del Toro's work. He reminds me of Jim Henson a bit, only a bit more dark. They way he doesn't go CGI crazy just makes it all the more appealing. He uses puppets and makeup to achieve the effect he wants for his movies. And, his monsters always have a fantasy appeal to them. Mythical and strange. Not like your average villains.
Great acting, great cast. Great movie.

When did this come out? I saw Hellboy last year sometime and I didnt even hear about a second being made O_o

Very good movie. I loved it but I felt there was something in the movie that was not there....I still don't know what it is though...

I loved Hellboy II! I was so disappointed with the first movie. It had great action, but was very much lacking in the mystical/paranormal stuff. This one was just what I was looking for in a Hellboy movie.

I dunno, I really liked the first Hellboy and thought the second was something of a disappointment. It was so full of plot holes and a lot of it felt so...cliche, outside of the designs of the monsters themselves. Which were cool, of course (omg Nuada was hot). But if the SFX budget had been smaller, I don't think the story would have been able to carry the movie at all.

Still like Pan a lot better.

I was in Spencer's awhile back with Gummy, and I saw a Nuada action figure, and cried to get mommy to buy it for me. I HAD TO HAVE IT.

Ranked seond in the top best movies I've seen this year.
