The awesomeness of old, classic horror...

Yes you heard me.
Anyone else find it interesting to make fun of these said classics? Or just likes to watch them.

Personally I find old horror movies to be really entertaining, like Frankenstein, Nosferatu and Ed Wood's masterpiece itself, Plan 9 From Outer Space.
That one is so bad it's hilarious.

Whether you laugh at them or take them serious, you're welcome to discuss it here.
Tell us your thoughts, recommend, or do whatever you feel like.

And try keep to the older ones.
Have fun.

I don't watch any. I hardly watch any at all. I think the last one I watch(it not even old anyway) is Silent hill. before that Resident Evil(it not even that horrorfing and it just stupid) and before that Stacy(It more gory then horror). With a few other in between(that I was bored and it just was on tv). So yeah none. Though I don't think Young Frankenstein counts

My favorite old horror flicks..

- Cannibal Holocaust
- Night of the Living Dead (Romero version)
- Dawn of the Dead
- Day of the Dead
- Flower of Flesh and Blood
- Cannibal Ferox
- Fright Night
- Exorcist
- Halloween

....I probably know some more, but I'm so hungover right now.

Ah... I miss the old school horror classics. They may have been a little gruesome but at least they had a plot (for the most part).

My picks:

Jaws/Jaws 2
The Fog (1980)
Halloween
Frankenstein/Dracula (1932)
The Wolf Man (1940)
Friday the 13th Parts 1-3
Fright Night
Prom Night

I watched about a half hour of Plan 9 From Outer Space on AMC once and laughed myself silly.

I can't list them all, but here are some of my favorites:

- Dawn of the Dead (1978...remake is horrible!)
- The first Nightmare on Elm. Street
- Terror Train
- The Fog (Original, not the crappy remake.)
- The Thing (John Carpenter version)
- Halloween 1 and 2.
- Happy Birthday to Me.
- Hellraiser (First one only)
- Day of the Dead (Original only)
- Fright Night
- Evil Dead (All of them)

That's all I can think of.
