It's that one film. That guilty pleasure. That film which you simply can't not like despite earning the universal hatred and disgust from everyone else on the planet.

Don't be shy. Let it out! Stand up and shout! (bad Dio reference ftw! :P)

I'll give mine later. Let the common people kickstart the topic, I say!

The Rich Man's Wife. It has a believable plot, but the scenes were kind of awkward. I thought it was rated at least 50% until I saw it at Rotten Tomatoes. (15%)

I have a bad feeling someone is gonna' raise an Uwe Boll movie. For some reason. :udgy:

Alex and Emma. A chick flick about a guy who has to finish his novel in 30 days or suffer the wrath of Italian loan sharks, and when his laptop breaks, he hires a stenographer to type up his novel, only to find out she talks as much as she types.

I thought it was funny and cute, but others find the story too predictable, characters unbelievable, and the ending totally blew it.

I have two.

Kung Pow: Enter the Fist - I admit that the newly integrated scenes, minus the first 10 minutes of the movie, were so dumb they're torturous(the cow, the one-boobed girl, the tongue, ...the final scene.....). The actual redubbing of the old Hong Kong film, however, was just hilarious. I still crack up over the "WEEOWOWEOEOEOEWOEEE".

The Godfather: Part III - Yeah, the plot was convoluted. Yeah, Sofia Coppola wasn't that great an actress. I still find it to be a good movie. The ending felt nearly perfect as well. I say nearly, because Al Pacino's makeup could've been a bit better.

I'm probably going to get a few stares from this, but here it goes.

Howard the Duck. This has been called one of the worst movies of all time. Seriesly, that's quite harsh. This movie is based on an old comic Marvel did when heros became out of style, and cartoons took over. Of coarse soon, Superheros took the reign again. I think things started to go down hill with the comic once Stan Lee gave the rights to Howard the Duck to someone else. I will admit there were some really dumb things in this movie, especially near the end of the movie. But there are a few funny bits. Plus the alien at the end of the movie was done pretty well. I wouldn't recomend seeing this movie or getting a DVD, but for some reason, I kinda liked it.

I will say I have a few ideas why this movie is shunned. Maybe the Possessed Scientist seemed too wierd, and then there's the whole Human/Furry relationship. ... wait, Howard was never IN love with that girl. Just close friends. Strike that part. And all Howard ever wanted was to get back to his own parralel universe. However, it never happened. Howard had two options: Save Earth or Go back to his Universe. And he chose to save earth. But unfortunately for him, that ruined his chances of going back to his planet. *Sigh* Just goes to show you. You can't always get what you want.

Super Mario Bros. (The Movie)

Just saw it recently within the last few weeks and I was like WTF is going on. Then when I finished it watching it for the first time, I was like "wow, I need to watch this again." So I did and I enjoyed it in all of it's bad-ness and eventually got it on DVD.

The single-boob lady wasn't so funny after seeing the movie three times, and the beginning with the baby all POW POW like got old after the first time around, but everything else was just hilarious xD

Everyone I watch it with IRL says "I hate this movie, it's stupid."

1- Epic Movie. I think this is in part because I watched it with one of my best friends when it first came out, and so I'm fairly emotionally attached to it; even though there are parts of it I can't stand watching, for the most part it just reminds me of why I find my friendship with her so special.

2- the Star Wars prequels. In particular, Attack of the Clones. I never really liked the original trilogy either, but sometimes I feel as if someone will murder me if I admit this out loud.

3- Any number of mediocre movies; I'm easily amused, what can I say? I know they're not masterpieces, but come on...

The beginning scene was hilarious for me, solely because of Betty. The moment he said "OPEN, DA MOUTH.", I just started losing it. It still makes me laugh, that line.

People hated Snakes On A Plane? O_O Dude, that movie rocked.

As for me, it's 10 Things I Hate About You. A cheesy, predictable teen romance that's a remake of an old Shakespeare play and I absolutely adored it.

Not entirely coincidentally, that movie happens to be one I like as well. I was, like, 15 at the time but I enjoyed it. The campyness and eye candy were gorgeous to look at. I don't look at it as a terrible movie actually because it fails to strike against anything in my "This Really Sucks" book. And, Uma Thurman was legendarily hot, especially in that skintight spandex suit. *drool*

Another one I liked was Napolean Dynamite. I know lots of people don't like this movie but I enjoyed the cheesy, b-movie quality to it. I also get lots of compliments saying that I look like Napolean Dynamite (because of the hair, and even more so if I put on glasses).

EDIT: Huh? "Pick of Destiny"? I was under the impression that everyone loved that movie.

I thought that most people absolutely loved Pick of Destiny and the South Park movie.

Am I the only one who liked Mortal Kombat Annihilation? I thought it was fun, charming and fairly amusing, but most people claim that it's terrible, and worse than the first film, which I didn't like as well.

I have a ton.

-Snakes on a Plane (so bad it's hilarious! Which makes it good in my twisted mind.)
-Matrix Reloaded (actually my favorite Matrix movie. :larry: )
-Matrix Revolutions (actually only really liked it the first time I saw it, but I think I can tolerate it more than most can)
-Super Mario Bros. (I LOVED THIS MOVIE. D:)
-300 (Self explanitory.)
-Disney movies (particularly the Hunchback of Notre Dame. And Aladdin. Though I do agree that the direct-to-video sequels they've been spewing out can go to hell.)
-Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II (my favorite in the original Turtles trilogy.)
-Star Wars prequel trilogy (sure, they're not nearly as good as the original trilogy, but they're great extensions of the storyline.)
-Star Wars: Return of the Jedi (why is my favorite movie in a series always the most hated one?)
-Waiting... (MY FAVORITE MOVIE. Yet everyone hates it just because Dane Cook happens to have a minor role in it.)

I also liked National Security, which seemed to get bad reviews cause of Martin Lawrence's racist jokes and such.

Irréversible fits, except I wouldn't go so far as to say I liked it (because it made me feel bad), or that I would recommend it (because I can't).

I'm the only person I know who sat through the whole thing and would watch it again, though.

Every other movie I like that nobody else does is generally because it's obscure or from a country-not-America and so they don't know about it. I don't know any legitimately bad movies that I like.

Due to its campiness, many people only like it because it gives them lulz. But I actually thought it was a good movie by itself. Action? Adventure? Witty remarks? Gory fight scenes? Boobs? What more could you ask for?

Speed Racer.

It had a plot that was close to something Masuda Tatsudo [name might be misspelled. And I call myself a fan] would have written in his manga. The main villain was pretty cool, the race scenes were action packed, and it was funny.
Everyone else made it the flop of the summer through poor reviews from the critics and bad online reviews from people who didn't know any better. :larry:
