Although it does have some good points. The Curry of Life Arc was hilariously awful xD
Raiga (Random stupid swordsman of the mist): Oh look, it's Ranmaru! His eyes are closed...he must be dead! There is absolutely no other explanation, such as he is sleeping! I am also too stupid to check his pulse or breathing. Who killed him?
Karashi (The weakest and most obvious septuple-crosser in history): You did!
Raiga: No I didn't! Who killed him?
Karashi: You did!
Raiga: No I didn't! Who killed him?
Karashi: You did!
Raiga: No I didn't! Who killed him?
[5 minutes later]
Karashi: You did!
Raiga: No I didn't! Who killed him?
Karashi: It was those Leaf Village ninja!
Raiga: I knew it! Let's go kill them too!
But the movies are just plain god-awful. I wouldn't mind them if not for the fact that (1) at the end of each it did not include some random power that is never explained (or even given a name in the last one!) coming from nowhere and (2) if the tiger had ripped off Hikaru's head. I was watching the entire movie waiting for that!

Are you talking about the new shippuden episodes or the newest manga chapter? Because I don't follow those... Since the dub is now okay I prefer watching dubs over subs, and I read the manga in Shonen Jump. (I'm not going to pay for Shonen Jump and then just read the manga in it online; it makes SJ a waste of money.)

No, the latest manga. I follow them pretty well. I haven't been watching Shippuuden lately because the subber I downloaded them from changed file formats and i can't watch them now. The dub is pretty bad in my opinion, but I haven't been watching the fillers and I missed the end of the first part in the dub. I really have top pick up my box sets and watch it. With the manga, I just buy the volumes and read it online. Even though it's waste to pay for them if I read it online, I like to have a hardcopy that I can pick up and read whenever, and the quality of the scans isn't always very good.

Yeah. I'm really disappointed with the direction the series is going. I stopped reading for a while, but picked it up again to find out what was happening, and now I'm really mad. I mean. geez, stop killing off all the characters!
