According to everyone who saw it. Which is not me because I like my cash where it is, in my pocket. Also, it looked bad.

What the hell is an SF?

Do you mean Star Trek? If so, write that in the title, then you'd probably get more replies. :D

Street fighter, you know the Chun-Li one.

It stands for 'Street Fighter' and Hatman making this topic makes it all the more obvious.
Anyway, I'd rather check out Dragon Ball: Evolution since it has a better chance against the Super Mario Bros Movie for the biggest fuck-up.

Haw, I'm not surprised. Even the studio who made it didn't like it in the end.

You know, I was kind of interested in this movie before I saw a trailer for it. It was an interview with the writer that got me interested. He said "Imma make this like X-Men, I'll write some random story about Chun-Li and I'll pack all of these spinning bird kicks and crap into one movie and you'll like it because it's just a few people with cool powers fighting each other. And then I'll make the sequel, and it'll have Ryu and Ken and some other guys and you'll like that because it'll get gradually bigger and bigger."

But they didn't make that movie.

They made the movie where Kirsten Kruek says "I'm Chun Li" fights some guys and the movie ends from the sound of it. So, yeah, I'm not seeing this.

They should make Street Fighter II V : The Movie. It'd be like the show; a buddy comedy where Ryu and Ken just beat the shit out of random strong looking people for the hell of it. Because, really, that's what Street Fighter is.

I regret nothing.

And I'm going to see the new DBZ movie. Just in case it's actually decent. And if it isn't, it's still going to be 'So bad it's good'

I'm still going to go see it.

More like embarrassingly shitful.

There is no possible way for it to be decent anyways.

Piccolo's still green. XD

But seriously, this is just like fans hating on the X-men films. I liked them, and I like X-men, even though loads hated them because they didn't think they're close enough. I see films having their own continuity anyways, so the Elves are allowed to help at Helms Deep in the films if they want to.

I think you missed the part where the movie looks fucking retarded, regardless of whatever the hell it's based on because clearly it's not even attempting to be similar

also the kid playing Goku looks like a goddamn autistic monkey, I hope he never acts in anything again so I don't have to see his ugly face

HA!

That being said, the Dragonball movie will do exactly want I want it to; deliver over the top stupid looking action and highly quotable terrible dialog. Pretty much what Dragonball the show already does. In that respect, I expect the Dragonball movie to be very true to the source material.

Also, Goku is a goddamn autistic monkey.

Three things:
1. I saw the commercial for the Street Fighter movie, and I thought two things:
-A. Street Fighter, as in-- Oh, a fireball. Yeah, its that Street Fighter.
-B. Fail.

2. This is the perfect example for proving that I am able to tie in Metal Gear Solid to any topic known to man (and some known only to women).

- David Hayter, the voice of Solid Snake and Naked Snake in the Metal Gear Solid games, wrote the script for the first X-Men movie and co-wrote the second. Interesting, completely irrelevant fact.

3. As for the DBZ movie, I wonder if we will be seeing any values in excess of 9000 units. Probably not.

4.

I knew this movie is going to flop.

I ALMOST tempted myself to go watch this at the theatres but I read so much criticism around GameFAQ's and thank goodness, it keep me away. :phoenix:

Hollywood...don't touch any popular Video Gaming franchises and making them into movies, OK? However, I will be ready to watch the horror for the Live action Dragonball movie!! *Shakes in fear*

Holy shit I thought that if there was mind-numbing, retarded audience that would have loved this flick, that would have been it.
