anythng vampiristic ca go here (vampiristic..is that a word)
i 1st read twilight about 2 years ago and was like one of very few in my school. now everyone is saying that the book is rubbish in comparison to the film

has aanyone seen the trailer for new moon. it uhh, doesnt look that great. the film will probably be ok, but the trailer is not something that makes me wanna go see it when it comes out. i reckon they have killed their chances. with a lame trailer.

i went through a faze of obsession and it is amazing how easily they can ruin a good story with a crap film. i had to sit through it about 100 times with friends and it gets better in time. that or you get over the shock of it. most of the people who watch it only watch it because they like the actor. its pathetic. he is ugly. very ugly.

The poor boy probably had no idea what he was getting into :( I feel sorry for him. I would not want to have psycho fangirls camping on my lawn.
The writing of the books is awful. If the books actually had a decent storyline, the movies could have been better (Not that it would be difficult). The entire series is just Bella whining about how awful her life is, etc. It's bland.

anyways, i've actually read all of the books, they're not horrible, but i can't say i like them very much. my friends asked me to watch the movie with them, i did, but it was worse than the book. i forever curse it for using supermassive black hole, i hate to death all the twilight fangirls who say they like muse, but have only heard that song.
i am not looking forward to new moon. as with the first movie, it will probably do injustice to whatever value the book had. and i hope they don't use another muse track, especially from the resistance.

For a book series that isn't that great (i.e. awful), it has way too much hype going on for it. It was made out to be the next Harry Potter, etc. (And let's face it, nothing will be the next Harry Potter for quite some time. Harry Potter wasn't just about the story, but the fact that it got so many youth reading books and being interested in reading).
I'll probably download the movie once it's out, as I did with Twilight. I doubt it will be worth paying for it. Plus I'll get to be all, "Oh hai lol it's Vancouver."

I never read the books. I tried but I couldn't get through the first one. I'm trying again...but it's not working out as well XD
As for Robert Pattinson, he's just not my style. I had all the girls in the room swooning over him so, that probably made repelled me XD

I'd watch him in some other movies before deciding how you feel about him as an actor. I pretty much disregard Twilight all together when it comes to him.
I've seen a lot of his interviews about Twilight and they're absolutely hysterical. My half-serious theory was that he was insulting the movies and books in order to get out of his contract. I think that he was required to tone it down, and eventually he had to stop and hasn't done as many interviews.

I started reading New Moon but after Edward broke up with Bella(LIEK OMG spoiler alert!!11!! :O) I got sick of Bella's god damn moping and whining.
One of the redeeming parts of the Twilight movie is that they kinda downplayed Bella's obsession with Edward and they tried to build up some suspense for the climax of the movie(emphasis on "tried"). The ending of the book was totally random with the vampire trying to eat Bella, there were no related events leading up to this part, it just sort of happened.
Hopefully New Moon will be more exciting and an actual decent movie. Oh, and let's hope the special effects aren't as crap as they were in Twilight. Those were hilarious. One example was that you could see the rim of Edward's contacts when they had a close up shot of him at one point in the movie

Now that Meyer has abandoned the series (Or at least, I hope she has), the only thing to keep it going are the movies.
