Anyone here watch the FOX TV Show America's Most Wanted, designed to profile cases of wanted fugitives, unidentified suspects and missing persons for either the viewers to call in with tips or for the fugitive to turn him/herself in under the additional pressure. How long have you been watching, do you have a personal Most Wanted List of your own or do you know of a case they haven't aired in awhile you want aired again.

I've been watching since Mid 2006 although I don't remember the episode. I have a personal Most Wanted List which I update if someone is captured or I remove the fugitive from the list for whatever reason.

I like it, even though I'm kind of pissed at them for implying that all vegans are crazy mad bombers and will kill you if your beliefs are different.

Daniel Andras San Diego - Bomber and Extreme Animal Rights Activist that planted bombs at two companies, one tests products on animals and the other did not contrary to San Diego's beliefs. He also planted nails within his bombs which is pretty serious. He also was recently added onto the FBI's Most Wanted Terrorists List.

I didn't feel they were implying that however when your covering a fugitive profile like this then some people that share one belief of a fugitive but not the more serious/extreme belief might feel that way.

I watched the show as a kid with my parents. (Quite hilarious, in hindsight...)

Not so much anymore, although that has more to do with a lack of TV in my room than anything else.

I don't remember any more exact quotes, but they also were talking about vegans being pushy protesters, and not letting the meat-eaters "have their own rights."

It was the biggest load of bullshit I've ever heard.

Well Vegans don't eat anything with animal-by products.

I think that was the point they were trying to say. And regarding those being pushy protesters and not letting meat-eaters have their own rights that probably was refered to the extremeists like San Diego and many others.

My point is they ridiculously over emphasized "extreme" and other statements that made it seem as if they were trying to call all vegans evil.

Well when they're talking about someone who tries to blow buildings up and endanger lives with nails planted inside them and even targeting a corporation that doesn't test products on animals I don't blame them for going to the extreme.

I'm fine with them using emphasis when talking about the actual criminal, but it felt like so many little angry comments were made at veganism in general.

Contact them about your problems with their segment. Perhaps because I eat meat and you don't which I'm not going to bomb your home over your sensitive over this. I would have to re-watch the segment again to fully get what you are saying although I see where you are coming from.

Do you quickly check the website to see what they're profiling for the week? You can get all the information on the fugitive that will be mentioned on the show and even more.

I've only missed one episode and that was when were driving up from Florida to Ontario on I-75 and stopped into a hotel around 9:56 PM.

Usually when there's a new case, a case they are to profile on the next episode or breaking news or capture updates then it will be on the front page. To know what cases they are profiling for the week, either Thursday or usually Friday they'll post the cases they're profiling on a section of the website which is linked to the Top Story usually.

http://www.amw.com/show_archive/index.cfm

Or just remember that link.

http://www.amw.com/fugitives/browse_last_name.cfm

That's the section where they put the website profiles in alphabetical order. Same with Missing Children and Missing Persons. I'm not expecting you to read all of them but just time to time look some up. They don't have all the cases they've profiled over 21 years, especially most of the old ones from the first 10 years they haven't aired since 2003/2004.

Your welcome.

Robert Fisher - Shot his wife, slit the throat's of his 10-year old son and 12-year old daughter and blew up the house they all lived in.
Jose Garcia - Broke into the home of a pregnant co-worker and raped her in front of her 14-month old daughter.
Joseph Garcia - Drug Cartel Hitman who killed one man, injured three more people and distributed drugs.
Fransisco Gonzalez - Abused his stepson until he was 4-years old where he killed him and threw him away in a trash dumpster.
Frederick McLean - Jehovah's Witnesses Ministral Servant who molested little girls 5-12 years old for 30 years.
Henry Menjivar - MS-13 Gang Member who kidnapped a young woman and shot her to death for higher position into the violent Prison Gang.
Jesus Morales - Imprisoned on Capital Murder charges then overpowered a prison guard and broke out of jail.
Rene Munoz - Held a woman hostage in his house where he sexually abused her and refused to give her food or water for 5 days. She escaped but Munoz caught up to her and further assaulted her. Then he organized the shooting death of a local drug dealer.
Sarkis Peltekian - Drunk Driver who crashed into a truck, sending nine teenagers off a cliff and killing seven of them.
Yaser Said - Shot and killed his two teenaged daughters after they wanted to have American lives compared to Yaser's Egyptian life.
Edward Salas - Shot into an apartment and killed a 10-year old boy where the target was a 17-year old. Then broke out of jail while serving life.
Curi Tapia-Martinez - Leader of a Midwest Mexican Meth Operation who uses grenades and automatic weapons.
Greisy Valencia - Viciously tortured her 4-year old daughter for 7 years.

Public Enemy #1

I'll update this post as fugitives are caught/removed/killed and I replace them with new ones.

Something about the premise behind this show seems inherently disturbing. Perhaps it's the sensationalism or the fascination that viewers have with the idea that they may somehow be helping bring justice, when really it's just satisfying a sort of morbid curiosity.

Speaking of which, Platinum Sky, what is with your obsession with violence, death, and grisly murder? :yuusaku:

Helping catch nearly 1100 criminals is helping provide justice. I just have an obsession with fugitive profiles and those elements are connected.

I already tried a Youtube Channel where I post several fugitive profiles in a row and talk about them and that didn't work very well so I deleted them. Now I just talk about one case per video from time to time.
