I haven't seen the series(original or Sins yet), but...I watched the live-action movie a few weeks ago. Holy fuck, it was terrible. I barely even remember it. It was hamhanded "WAR IS BAD" + LOOK AT ALL THAT GODDAMN BLOOM + Soviet-style Japan for some reason + admittedly nice effects + MUD ZOMBIES +...you get the point. There were one or two good fight scenes(one where Casshern fought what I THINK was Dante from Devil May Cry and an army of poorly designed giant robots), and one where he fought Kamen Rider G3(if you understand this reference, you get a cookie) in a swordfight.

I've heard fantastic things about the anime, though, so I'm at least hoping to get a chance to sit down and watch it soon.

Watched Sins, and it was amazing. He's the main reason why Tatsunoko vs. Capcom is a good idea. Haven't seen this movie, but my friend once told me it was good. *shrugs* I dunno.

The first time I saw him, I thought he was Speed Racer O_o

I know, but it was a two second flash in the TvC trailer, and I hadn't seen Street Racer in forever.

Believe me, I felt like a dumbass when I cleared it up.
