Oh. I use other websites when starting a new manga. I just use stoptazmo for latest updates. I hate the 2 chappys at a time too.

Somebody needs to make an awesome doujin fighter of Fullmetal. It has the potential to be cool.

It is, indeed. I'm always hanging out in this forum while my friends watch the anime and fangirl over Ed or Roy like a bunch of squealing little girls that they are. x_x

I'm afraid of even starting to collect the manga since I kniw there's a lot out now and I don't like a really long seried like FMA or InuSuckaYasha.

I was ok with it for a while, but then I stopped after Hughes died. And when the Roy/Ed fanbase scared me off. Probably a bad move.. Now I'm so behind on the series, I am sure. D=

The manga isn't long at all. It's incredibly average sized.

Vic What-ever-his-last-name-is didn't bother me that much...however, Al's voice was a little too whiny for me though.

Meh. I thought the same about Al. But I liked Al more than Ed, personally. My otaku!friends can kiss my ass. Al > Ed, in my view. *nods*

I always thought Ed's dubbed VA was over rated as fuck. And I'm sick of the rabid fans.

Recently, I heard from someone that he expresses his anti yaoi thoughts in immature ways. But I don't know that entirely for sure... They might be exaggerating, but I gotta see and research for myself.

:ack: Where did you hear that from?

It doesn't mean I like the guy...he just doesn't bother me.

It could be worse...FMA would have been dubbed by 4KidsTV and suffer the same fate as One Piece.

The second half of the anime utterly fell apart. They defied the laws of alchemy, rewrote a few too if I recall correctly, the story fell apart into a piece of crap, and the movie that comes after it is one of the worst movies in anime history.

Your probably right, they kind of rush into things after the death of Maes Hughes.

I agree...the movie was terrible and I hated it. It's a bastardization of the series!

If FMA had been dubbed by 4Kids, then you'd probably get an overuse of Eric Stuart. :/

I have seen neither the show nor the manga. In the opinions of people here, is the series worth looking at and if so, which one should I start with?

In my opinion, the series is excellent, though everyone else would said different. It's up to you if you want to see it or not.

I would recommend the anime first, but read the manga as well.

I personally don't see why people are turned off by the anime. I admit that it pales in comparison to the far superior manga, but as an anime, I feel that as an anime, it was pretty brilliant in its own right. Sure I'm gonna be jumped by all you haters, but thats how I feel. I thought the anime was very well done.

I was a little disappointed with the ending of the movie though, but I can understand how it ended. The anime took a completely different path than the manga. My guess is some people don't like it because it is a lot darker than its lighter manga counterpart.

Yea, but when they were doing the anime, I don't think those characters were introduced at the time, and if they were, they just got introduced...

Seriously. Read the manga. It is far superior, and the plot actually makes sense instead of jumping around all the time.

It's funny how people say "It's far superior" this and that. I think the anime and the manga are equally great. :gant:
