Alright, The Speed Racer movie's coming out May '08 and it looks amazing. The Wachowski brothers (The Matrix Trilogy, V for Vendetta) are behind it and it's just.....damn it's pretty. I'm definietly going to be seeing this.

Haha, he seriously does look too much like Godot. Makes me want a Phoenix Wright movie, dream a dream.

That looks... so. cool. I was thinking about seeing it, now I'm definitely going to see it. I'm no movie buff by any stretch of the imagination, but I do like their choice of actors. Especially Speed.

That guy does look just like Godot! I lold.

It does look like a live-action cartoon which is tremendously exciting, but I honestly never felt my senses destroyed watching something in quite the same way the trailer has.
I don't think my brain can endure 2-hours of this.

If you thought that was bad don't ever watch Legend of The Sacred Stones. It's a kung-fu puppet movie that causes seizures in small children. But honestly, considering we are in the ADHD generation here, Speed Racer is the PERFECT movie.

I watched the old Speed Racer cartoon as a kid when Cartoon Network ran crazy shows like He-man, Thundercats and Robotech. Considering the bastardization of other joys of my childhood (TMNT and Transformers) I'm a little iffy but considering that the Wachowski brothers are behind it....I'm giving it a chance, besides it does look awesome.

I'm going to like this movie. I liked the anime, I think this is going to be good. The cast looks good, John Goodman has been in SOME good movies, William Shatner is more awesome than the word awesome, Joe Silver is producing, The Wachowski brothers is directing and Matthew Fox is Racer X (which minus Lost, doesn't have that bad of a career.) Matthew will have to work hard, though. I always thought Racer X was such a badass.

Then again V for Vendetta wasnt bad at all so theres hope...

Im sure there will be something in the movie that will easily drill holes in ones brain. I mean the Wachowski wrote the story the Matrix series... -_-;;
