I haven't seen it yet, but a friend told me a doll of Alvin in the movie said "Watashi wa Aruvin desu." For those that have seen it: Did it happen, and what was your take on it?

...I learned how to say that (with my name, not Alvin's) in the first day of class.

That's not a reference at all. That's the equivalent of me going "I am Cyanide" and everyone screaming that I was paying homage to Night of the Lepus or something.
