Anyone else going to watch this? I'm going to the midnight showing of this in a couple hours. Needless to say, I'm excited. Stallone is taking it back to the 80's with this...from the looks of the trailer, it'll be awesome, movie of the year material. If he can pull off Rocky Balboa, this should be just as good, if not better.

Maybe this will inspire him to revive all of his characters, haha.

Anyway once I see it, I'll give a review.

Oh my god....this movie was freaking AWESOME

Spoiler: Movie Spoilers
The movie doesn't hesitate to start with action...right off the bat it's action...we see the heartless Burma soldiers execute the innocent and rebel alike...When Rambo snaps in front of the "Pirates," was fucking gully as hell...he mercilessly executed those SOB's with the handgun he was carrying. They also had a nice flashback scene of the previous movies with Trautman (R.I.P.) narrating that Rambo can't escape war. Another awesome scene was in the messed up village, when Rambo appears outta no where and slaughters the hell out of the enemy with arrows....straight gangsta...then there's the part where he rips the throat of one of the generals...possibly my favorite scene is when he hooks up a trip wire to an abandoned WW2 bomb and that sh!t goes off like the A-Bomb...and finally the finale battle was hardcore as hell...Rambo went ballistic on those assholes...the ending was nice too, Rambo finally goes home.
This is definitely a movie I'd go see again....best throw back to 80's action I've seen so far...in retrospect, this is what Die Hard 4 should've been, Fox shouldn't have pussied out with the PG-13 crowd with DH. If this movie is any indication on how far an R will get you, I can't wait until an unrated DVD is released.

This is a must see for fans of Rambo, and action. 9.5/10

I saw it and LOVED IT! The Unrated version would take an already awesome movie and make it BETTER!

Nice to see another fan...thought I was the only one, haha. I agree, it was totally awesome. How did you like the ending? Wasn't it great how it went full circle? Stallone gets my respect, this and Rocky Balboa were films strictly made for the fans.

I'm going to see it again, the next chance I get.
