No disagreements here.

I'm still waiting for the complete series to be released on DVD...the volumes so far have been good, though...I hope Vol. 3 has my favorite episode, where Negaduck uses that gem/jewel to absorb the Fearsome Five's powers.

It was a great show. It ended well before it should have, though. Best episode is the one with the alternate reality, IMO.

Agreed. I watched some episodes a few days ago (in Dutch, but I doubt it would matter), and what struk me was the amount of very sophisticated speech. All characters didn't seem to talk very kid-friendly, and I thought it was crazy that I could ever understood all of that.

One of our own CR members, AkumaTh has had a comic going for quite some time that has Gosalyn take over as Darkwing Duck in the future.
Here it is.
It's really good! Almost as good as the original TV show!

And what's this about a complete DVD collection? 8D Are they actually doing one?
I would get it in a heartbeat!

It's possible, there are only 37 episodes left to shipped out on DVD. That means that Disney will placed 37 in the 3rd volume (which would make it the final volume) or they will make Volume 3 and 4 about 19 episodes left. Either way, I hope Volume 3 will be released August 2008 like predicted.

Sorry, Old buddy, but Disney is only selling DWD and most of it other shows on DVD only by volume. However, at the price of $20 per volume with about 27 episode each, it's a great bargain. (In compare to most companys that give you and average of 12-18 eps. for about $30)

My Favorite DWD Villian: Quacker-Jack and Mega-Volt

(And Darkwarrior Duck if he counts)

Good luck finding them for you be looking for it in stores. When both volume 1 and 2 were released, they sold out pretty quickly in stores and not to mention they have been out for a while, so most stores might not have it anymore. I say your best chance is to buy it would be buying online.

I'm waiting for the next volume of Darkwing Duck as well. I bought the DVD's when I saw them on the shelves because it has a great price for so many episodes. I used to have a bunch of the episodes recorded on tape when I was a kid.

I remember ordering a couple of Darkwing Duck toys from the various cereals too. I mailed in some of the UPC bar codes from the bottom of cereal. There was the 4 little figurine set of Darkwing, Launchpad, Gosalyn, and Megavolt set, a Darkwing Duck on the Ratcatcher mini flashlight keychain, and the gas gun bubble blower. I wish I still had these toys though.

My favorite villain would be Nega Duck. I liked the episode when Darkwing kept changing into whoever he looked at. The episode that creeped me out the most was "Twin Beaks" because it looked like Bushroot was dead, and he was all wrapped up in a piece of plastic and floating in the river.

Quackerjack, that's the fool-suit duck with the doll, right? That guy and Taurus Bulba scared the hell out of me when I was a kid. Both pretty freaky.

Yes, that show was VERY cool. I think they still play it every now and then on Toon Disney.

I still have it somewhere. I'll have to pull it out one day and play it. I used to love it!

I liked Negaduck and Steelbeak, just because they were the biggest assholes out of all the villains....though Taurus Bulba comes at a close third because he came back to life as a robot. :godot:

Aww heck, I loved Darkwing Duck. Used to give me nightmares when I was little though. ;D My mum loved it too.

I think I still have that huge figure of him in the garage somewhere... I must now dig it out. D<
