I bought the omnibus the other day, it's hillarious. Plus it's good for thwacking your sisters over the head with. As for the anime, it doesn't seem as good as the manga, even though they're basically the same. I can't work out why. |

Osaka's my favourite chracter, she's just so funny... and cute... I don't particularly like any non-canon pairings in anything, so no to that question. Anyway, I'm on episode 18, so I might like it better later on. |

I love Azumanga Daioh! The one I like most is Yomi, though I don't see how she can put up with all the crap Tomo comes up with, Tomo can be really annoying. Maybe I like Yomi most because sometimes she actually goes head to head with Tomo  . Second place for favourite character would go to Sakaki or Osaka, I can't decide. I've been looking for a suitable wallpaper with Chiyo's Dad, but found none. I'm happy with the Apollo Justice one I have now though.

Azumanga is one of my favorite anime/manga ever. :D Hands down one of the best slice-of-life series, imo. Also, I think the anime was handled well; considering the 4koma format would be difficult to adapt to a show for some series. |

I absolutly LOVED this series. It was seriously one of the funniest I've seen. It also had one of the best English dubs I've seen (I don't care what anybody says, I think a southern American accent is perfect for dub Osaka). Sakaki FTW man! Kagura FTW man! And Chiyo is definatly one of the CUTEST anime characters ever! |

Well, I'm obviously a big fan of Sakaki (points to profile pic). Of course I'm a sucker for the shy and nice girls. Still, the series is hillarious and I loved every minute of it. Also, Chiyo and  are clearly similar characters and I very much enjoyed the comic posted earlier. Good times to be had by all.

I think she's still cute. I think this is an example of good dubbing. Unlike when 4kids does things like this, there's actually a reason for doing this, it's to symbolize how she's from the south. Also watch the whole of an English dub before judging it. Azumanga Daioh has a good English dub. |

Haha, that's the theme song by the second VA of ChibiUsa's dub voice from Sailor Moon. She's a radio personality and "SugaBayBee" is her persona name. (seen a really nice AMV too with ChibiUsa; very synched and everything) |

In this case though, the dubbing isn't really that bad. I often find dubs to be the bane of my existance (especially on older series like Escaflowne). However, in this case, I think the english voice team do a pretty good job. There really isn't any instance of severe overacting (which often plagued Trigun's and Evangelion's dub) which is what usually makes me switch the language function and I think they do a good job to make it work. The original cast is great too and I think you get a good dual language track out of this series. |
