I've been watching the series (Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei), its pretty good. I absolutely love the dark humor and the style of the animation. The animation is so simplistic, almost like the whole series was created on a strict budget or something. The story was what initially got me interested in series and it is both unique and refreshing. I view Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei as the next FLCL is it were to be released in America (depending if its translated and localized properly and well)

I agree, it's great. I have a dry, dark sense of humor, so the show gallows humor is great. The art, while simplistic, is beautifully done. I'd love to see it localized, but the way the market's been lately, that's probably not going to happen anytime soon...

Well I figured it will be troublesome to localize all the Japanese Pop/Media/Historical references to the American audience.
Plus the stuff with the characters names like Nozomu Itoshiki reference to the word "despair" (Hell I have trouble understanding it, something to do with writing it horizontally 0_o;;;) will be a ton of work in itself.

Well, those would be some localization issues, however, I was referring to the fact that the anime market stateside is having problems because of internet fansubs. Geneon went under a little while ago because of that.
